松果体与氟化物 - 松果体启蒙之旅1

松果体在人体的昼夜节律和「睡眠—觉醒」周期中起着关键作用。松果体位于人类大脑的深处,接受视网膜传导的光的刺激。当你看到日光时,当你的眼睛看到日光时,这个信号会通过你的视神经发送到你的视交叉上核(简称SCN,是昼夜节律调节系统的中枢结构,产生和调节睡眠),触发皮质醇和其他激素的释放,帮助你从睡眠中醒来。

晚上,随着夜幕降临,SCN向人的松果体发出信号,让松果体释放褪黑激素,帮助入睡。然而,如果摄入较多的氟化物,意味着大量的氟化物可能在松果体中积累,从而改变睡眠周期。

根据《环境健康》的研究,氟化物在钙化组织中的沉积,如松果体、骨骼和牙齿,可能代表了一种防御机制,可以抵御在其他它组织中潜在的氟化物中毒。而且,松果体中与氟化物钙化之间存在着联系明显,例如,人们发现老年人的松果体中的氟化物钙化的比例比他们骨骼中的比例更高。

The pineal gland plays a key role in the body's circadian rhythm and sleep-wake cycle. The pineal gland is located deep in the human brain and is stimulated by light conducted by the retina. When you see daylight, when your eyes see daylight, this signal is sent through your optic nerve to your suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN for short, which is the central structure of the circadian regulatory system that produces and regulates sleep). Triggers the release of cortisol and other hormones to help you wake up from sleep.

At night, as night falls, the SCN sends a signal to the person's pineal gland, causing the pineal gland to release melatonin to help fall asleep. However, if you consume more fluoride, it means that large amounts of fluoride may accumulate in the pineal gland, thereby changing the sleep cycle.

According to research in Environmental Health, fluoride deposition in calcified tissues, such as the pineal gland, bones and teeth, may represent a defense mechanism against potential fluoride poisoning in other tissues. Furthermore, there is a clear link between fluoride calcification in the pineal gland; for example, older adults have been found to have a higher proportion of fluoride calcification in their pineal glands than in their bones.

The deposition of fluoride in the pineal gland and its calcification are likely to affect sleep through changes in pineal cells and melatonin output. Because the pineal gland is mainly composed of pineal cells, and pineal cells can synthesize melatonin. However, sleep is only one of the variables that is affected when changes occur in the pineal gland; after all, the importance and role of pineal cells is not fully understood.
