Melting City Series 36 Yongning Ancient Village in Northern Shaanxi, China

Yongning Village is located on Yongning Mountain, 28 kilometers south of Zhidan County on the Yan'an Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi. The entire mountain was hollowed out and sited on a cliff. Thousands of people once lived there when it was prosperous.

I heard there is a rather long story, but it looks like it was a Tataria castle that was melted down, then reorganized and moved in.

Theodore Roosevelt Dam

Melting City Series 39 Theodore Roosevelt Dam

Theodore Roosevelt Dam is a dam located on Salt Lake City northeast of Phoenix, Arizona. In 1888, Billy Breakenridge became Maricopa County surveyor and spent just one week on horseback surveying hundreds of kilometers of mountains to the Salt River to determine the site for a dam.

Looking at the old photos again, there is good reason to believe that this dam originally existed and was later reorganized.
And in old photos, you can see that the buildings are also covered in rocks.

Figure 2: It should be the state of the dam survey at the beginning
Figure 4: Later it was clad with cement to create a modern building
