🗣️ Jamie Carragher on Manchester City's charges:

“When I see teams who bring the most money in, and I see City above Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Man Utd... that's nonsense.

I don't care how successful Man City are, that can't happen. It's impossible.”

🗣️Pep Guardiola confirms Rodri will miss the rest of the season:

"He had surgery this morning, ACL and some meniscus, we think. Next season he will be with us. This season is over."

🗣️ Pep Guardiola on the Carabao Cup: "The next round, I announce you, I play the second team. We are not going to waste energy, for sure."

"The schedule is the schedule, we cannot handle it anyway. For McAtee, Nunes, Grealish, Foden, who didn't play, the young lad, 16 years old, it's perfect."

"That's why it's a good competition, otherwise we wouldn’t win four in a row. We play to go through. We never throw a competition. Never."

"But we played 50 hours ago. I’m not going to take a risk with the Premier League and the Champions League in this competition."

🗣️ Victor Boniface on whether he would play in the Premier League:

"No, I don't like the EPL. I’ve been saying this even before I came to Europe. I’m not saying if a great EPL team comes for me, I won’t go.

But if I had to pick 2 countries where I want to live & play in, it will be Germany and Spain."

Has Ryan Gravenberch been the best midfielder in the Premier League so far this season? 👀

🗣️ Paul Merson: "Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world. They should be finishing in the top four at the very least with the heritage they have as a club.

That is why the pressure is always seemingly on Erik ten Hag.”

That's why this is such a big match. Lose at home to Tottenham and that pressure will start to crank up again."

🗣️ Jose Mourinho: "What is called the Mourinho effect? Trophies. Cups. We cannot win trophies in September. There are no trophies to win in September.

In every club I've been, I won cups. Except for Tottenham, I was sacked 2 days before a cup final. But in every club, the effect was titles."
