On October 23rd 2025, a British volunteer boasted about the value of the cargo he is shipping to Ukraine's frontline units and visible next to him were boxes carrying Nova Poshta's logo.
Someone working for the Russian MoD must've seen this tweet and since October 2025 Russia has been systematically targeting Nova Poshta's warehouses across Ukraine.
Just in the last month, Nova Poshta warehouses in Dnipropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, Kiev and Chernigov.

I have decided to add another 350 billion shekels to the defense budget over the coming decade. A large portion of that will go to the Air Force.
As part of this effort, we will also build a broad, Israeli-made munitions industry—our own weapons, which will reduce our dependence on procurement from abroad.

Writing in The Telegraph, Zaluzhny said modern warfare "no longer rewards tactical victories in the way it once did," arguing that the conflict is "a war of attrition" where battlefield gains are measured "in metres rather than miles" and come at an extraordinary cost.
He acknowledged that Ukrainian strikes on Russian logistics and infrastructure have imposed real costs on Moscow but stressed they are "expensive, technologically demanding and ultimately reciprocal," adding that "neither side can rely on this form of warfare to produce a decisive strategic outcome."
Zaluzhny said Russia's strategy is focused on exhausting Ukraine's manpower, resources, and morale. He argued that only NATO's combined military and economic strength can ultimately defeat Russia, while criticizing the alliance's "defensive culture" as being "stuck in the Cold War."

On the sidelines of the NATO meeting in Ankara, we agreed with the American government that U.S. Tomahawk missiles will be purchased by us and stationed in Germany.
We are closing an important strategic gap in our defense while simultaneously working to develop our own European systems and stationing them in Europe.

You are stoking fear of war and using it as a blank check to cast aside the last restraints on borrowing under the pretext of spending for security.
You are driving defense spending to astronomical heights without making Germany any safer as a result.
Instead, you are building a state-directed and state-financed arms industry as a replacement for the real industry that your policies have destroyed.
An arms industry whose products you then give away to Ukraine.

In an article published in the The Telegraph, Zaluzhny, the Ukrainian ambassador to Great Britain, warns against thinking that Ukraine hitting trucks on Russian highways will cause Russia's military position to weaken and sue for peace, Zaluzhny calling it "a dangerous misreading of the war" adding that "it reflects a tendency to interpret events through the lens of individual battlefield successes rather than the wider strategic picture".
He continued:
"Modern warfare no longer rewards tactical victories in the way it once did. Advances in drone technology, precision strike capabilities and surveillance have transformed the battlefield, making decisive breakthroughs extraordinarily difficult for either side.
This is no longer a war of swift manoeuvres. It is a war of attrition.
Every tactical gain now comes at an extraordinary cost. Positions can be taken, but holding them, reinforcing them and evacuating the wounded has become increasingly difficult under constant drone surveillance. Success on the battlefield is measured in metres rather than miles, and often at a price that bears little relation to its strategic value.
The same is true beyond the front line. Ukraine’s increasingly effective strikes against Russian logistics and critical infrastructure have imposed real costs on Moscow. But these attacks are expensive, technologically demanding and ultimately reciprocal. Russia retains the ability to strike back with equal or greater force. Neither side can rely on this form of warfare to produce a decisive strategic outcome".
The ambassador adds that Russia's success rests now on exhausting Ukraine's capacity to defend draining its manpower, its resources, causing shortages of goods and other resources and psychologically trying to break the morale of the Ukrainian people.
Searching for a solution to end the war, Zaluzhny points towards NATO as the only thing capable of defeating Russia through the combined militaries and economies of all its member states. Zaluzhny deplores NATO's "defensive culture" which he calls "stuck in the Cold War" and wants it to become more pro-active than it already is.

Secret documents from a series of clandestine Russian-Chinese military forums reveal a joint plan to defeat Elon Musk’s Starlink and a weapons development partnership far deeper than either country will admit. From air- and missile-defense systems to AI-enhanced drone capabilities, cooperation between Moscow and Beijing is allowing Russian forces to keep pace with Ukrainian innovations while China gains the opportunity to test its wares under combat conditions. Although the threat of increased Western sanctions continues to place constraints on their “no limits” partnership, Russia and China are moving forward with several joint projects — and former U.S. military officers are concerned about Washington’s will to stop them.
By the fall of 2023, Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet network, had become a primary means of communication on the Ukrainian battlefield. Medics used its terminals to coordinate evacuations, artillery crews to correct their fire, and drone operators to fly in real time. “Starlink is now actually the blood of our entire communications infrastructure,” Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s then-minister of digital transformation and now its defense minister, said that September. As of November, SpaceX had delivered more than 40,000 terminals to Ukraine, and the system had grown so central to the country’s war effort that U.S. officials described it as irreplaceable.
That same month, in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, engineers from China’s most important space and defense institutions gathered for a secret meeting. One of the items on their agenda was how to destroy Starlink, a prized possession in Elon Musk’s expansive business empire, which awkwardly straddles a geopolitical divide. SpaceX is the Pentagon’s most important space contractor, responsible for building and carrying U.S. spy satellites into orbit, while the U.S. government-run Starshield, the hard variant of Starlink, ensures resilient military connectivity. Meanwhile, Tesla, Musk’s electric car company, whose largest factory is in Shanghai, is heavily reliant on Chinese state loans and the indulgence of the Chinese Communist Party.

I believe that the constructive and productive discussions we held with U.S. President Donald Trump will lead to concrete outcomes that meet our country's expectations in the defense industry, particularly with regard to our national fighter aircraft, KAAN, and the F-35 program.
