My speculation about this case was correct. The White lady had paid for the citibike, at which point the black youths approached and said it was theirs. This is not because I am clairvoyant. It's because I grew up around blacks and have seen them steal bikes many times in exactly this way.

The idea that a 30 something white woman tried to steal a bike from a group of black youths is completely ludicrous. I hope this woman sues every paper that published the slanderous claim that she was the bike thief.
