Neemrana is an ancient historical town in Alwar district of Rajasthan, India, 84 km (52 mi) from Gurgaon; 122 km (76 mi) from Delhi and 150 km (93 mi) from Jaipur on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in Neemrana tehsil.

Mamannar #KalingarayanAnicut is a dam constructed on the #BhavaniRiver (tributary of #KaveriRiver) in the South Indian state of #TamilNadu. It is located just before #Kooduthurai where Bhavani combines with #Cauvery, in #Bhavani, #Erode.

The anicut was constructed in the 13th century by the Kongu Tamil Chieftain Mamannar Kalingarayan Gounder and his birth name is Lingaiya Gounder. This irrigation project involved the construction of a dam and barrage to divert the water to Kalingarayan Canal. It is one of the ancient River linking project, which established the link between Bhavani river and Noyyal river. The Kalingarayan Anicut was built in 1283.
CSI #BroughMemorialChurch is located on #BroughRoad, near Panneer Selvam Park circle, in the heart of #Erode, #TamilNadu, India. The church has been serving the community, since its consecration in 1933.
History
The church was constructed by Rev. Antony Watson Brough, who came to Erode under London Missionary Society. The construction works were started in 1930 and completed in 1933. It was dedicated in 1933 by Rt. Rev. Azariah and named as Brough Memorial Church.

#KulluManaliAirport is an airport located in #Bhuntar in the Indian state of #HimachalPradesh. The airport is located 11 km from #Kullu and 52 km from #Manali.

Bhuntar is considered a challenging airport for pilots because of its single runway set in a deep valley whose peaks rise several thousand feet higher than the runway. Also, the airport is located on the banks of the river Beas, and in 1995, its flash floods posed a threat to the runway. The new air terminal at Bhuntar was inaugurated in 2008, and the airport apron enlarged to park two aircraft at a time. Kingfisher Airlines ceased operations in September 2012 while Air India Regional resumed its operations to Kullu in May 2013. Himalayan Bulls in collaboration with Deccan Charters has commenced Kullu-Chandigarh-Kullu flights thrice a day from 2 April 2014.

#Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath (literal meaning: Lord of the peaks) mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. It is located at an altitude of 3,680 m, and just below the peak of Chandrashila. and is the third (Tritiya Kedar) in the pecking order of the Panch Kedars. It has a rich legend linked to the Pandavas, heroes of the Mahabharata epic.

#LikirMonastery or #LikirGompa (Klud-kyil) is a #BuddhistMonastery in #Ladakh, #NorthernIndia. It is located at 3700m elevation, approximately 52 kilometres in the west of #Leh. It is picturesquely situated on a little hill in the valley, in #LikirVillage near the #IndusRiver about 9.5 kilometres north of the Srinigar to Leh highway. It belongs to the Gelugpa sect of #TibetanBuddhism and was established in 1065 by Lama Duwang Chosje, under the command of the fifth king of Ladakh, Lhachen Gyalpo (Lha-chen-rgyal-po).

Gurudwara Manji Sahib in Ludhiana District's Alamgir village reflects yet another landmark in the life of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. The Guru was pursued by the Mughal Army and it was at the site where this Gurudwara now stands, where he paused and rested, blessing it with his presence.
The sensation of riding on a toy train and the soothing views surrounding it is definitely inexpressible. This century-old toy train in Matheran hill station, situated on the Western Ghat mountain range in Maharashtra, is one of the five historic mountain railways currently operating in India.

Vashisht is a small village located around 3 km from Manali across the River Beas. This beautiful village is famous for its sulphurous hot water springs and Vashisht temple, built just next to the springs. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain the hot water from the springs, which are used to take bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy. There are separate baths for both men and women, fitted with showers.

Vashisht also houses many temples that are dedicated to a local saint Vashisht and Lord Rama. This place has a refreshing atmosphere that allows one to indulge in exotic baths while seeking blessing from the presiding deity of the temple.
