π© WOMEN : YOUβRE NOT βMOODYβ β YOU MIGHT JUST BE DEHYDRATED.
Research shows that even 1.36% dehydration can significantly disrupt mood and mental performance in healthy young women.
The study found:
β’ β Anger & irritability
β’ β Fatigue
β’ β Headaches
β’ β Mood disturbance
β’ β Concentration
β’ β Tasks feel harder
All from dehydration so mild most women wouldnβt notice it.
Why this matters: hydration in women fluctuates naturally (cycle, stress, caffeine, workouts).
If you feel foggy, irritable, low-energy, or emotionally off β it may not be hormones.
It may simply be not enough water.
Drink consistently throughout the day β your brain feels dehydration long before your mouth does.

π² Rummikub & Scrabble > Doomscrolling
Instead of lying next to each other, both glued to a screen, do something active together.
Rummikub and Scrabble are perfect anti-screen games for couples because they:
β’ Replace passive scrolling with real interaction
β’ Spark focus, memory, and quick thinking
β’ Create playful competition and conversation
β’ Pull you out of algorithm-induced brain fog
No endless feeds.
No background noise.
No half-attention.
Just a table, tiles or letters, and your partner across from you. Also good for the family!
Make it a habit:

The more a mother enjoys her motherhood, the more her child will enjoy their childhood.
You will never get these special moments back. When the world tries to tell you that you βcould be doing so much moreβ, remember what a privilege it is to be a tiny humanβs everything.
