1.Be patient
2.Don't be prideful or stubborn
3.If married love unconditionally (within reason and laws of God)
4.Don't be afraid to be firm even if threatened with breakup or divorce (if what your being firm on is reasonable and biblical)
5.Limit or Remove all of the opposite sex friends (No matter what people say there is no such thing as just friends without 1 or the other having attraction)

If you are married or in a relationship, in front of people you are always a team. Some people want to see you argue, struggle, break up, break down. That's why in front of people you are always a team. If necessary, disagree in the car with each other or at home. It's not faking, It's called being respectful of one another and showing the world you stand together no matter what.
No one will respect a man or a woman that will tear down their spouse in front of people.
