This has been a very controversial topic, and I'd like your feedback/opinions.

"Spare the rod, spoil the child." Do you think this is true? Is it possible to raise a well mannered kid without spanking them? (Such as other forms of discipline.) Where do you draw the line between a spanking and abuse?

I was recently told by someone that prenatals are unnecessary (I've known for a time now that folic acid is a scam), and prenatals can even make postpartum very difficult.

Does anyone know anything about it? Any studies you can link? Or personal experience to share?
