As if that were a bad thing!

I said good, so they should - as long as they're developing home-making skills to some degree, and not merely expecting their prince, with no effort given on the part of the woman to build her character in virtue and homely work.

What would one prefer - them to work and hold equal status with men, and be just as brutalised by the world, without the faculties of a man to navigate it, or to be honoured by their parents (honouring one's children is an extension of the fourth commandment), cloistered, loved and defended in the home before they find a suitable love in holy matrimony?

It's rather simple. Alas, this article, written nearly 100 years ago, is likely to offend the feminist women within the traditional movement who are deluded and as a result are incapable of honouring themselves, let alone men.

Just a reminder for the women subscribed to this channel, and maybe the little ones looking over momma's and papa's shoulder.

You are valuable and loved. Your worth does not come from a college degree or an unrealistic expectation. You do not need to be "more loud" or "bolder." There is an incredible beauty in just being yourself. Just being "a little flower." You do not have to go to parties and gatherings full of people if that makes you uneasy. You do not have to be "self made" or "independent." It is okay to be quiet. It is okay to value time alone. It's okay to confide in someone. You do not "deserve" to be mistreated...or to mistreat yourself. Success does not consist in comparing yourself to others, or weighing yourself down when you could not achieve your goals. The fact that you had tried is admirable enough.

Be feminine, be graceful, and be you. Sometimes we just need a little reminder. ❤️
