Please pray for all of the victims in the recent Mass Shooting in Serbia. It was done by a 14 year old who killed several of his classmates and wounded others.

Here is an unpopular opinion for you...

I took a walk for an hour with a forest full of birds singing jubilantly with springtime joy and didn't encounter by sight or sound any man.

I found a turkey hen we thought was lost hiding on a nest in the woods.

I came home with a handful of wild flowers to bring to a prowhite friend's farm for dinner tonight.

And now I'm going to bake a cake and listen to my husband's hammering as he puts on a new roof.

All good things come from God and He answers prayers. Taking a moment to revel in this life. ❤️

Please pray for the victims of a shooting in Allen, TX. One of the youngest confirmed victims that we know of is a 5 year old boy.

I found myself overwhelmed, annoyed, and almost complaining about a chaotic day culminating from other chaotic days of late. Then it began to rain and I decided to take a breath, sit on the porch, and pray. During this time, I read from my one of my favorite prayer books and came upon this prayer that I have notated as what I call a Sparrow's Prayer — a prayer to remind me that God cares about even the smallest detail of his creatures' lives — Matthew 10:29-31.  I pray for God's grace and blessing on all the handling of my hand from the time I rise early to the time I lie down late because it is through Him that we have true peace — regardless of all and anything else.
