The SS had a special wedding ring and you can see above. This was the official wedding ring of the black Allgemeine SS (Schutzstaffel). The elite SS bodyguard regiment, the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, who later became the 1st SS Panzer Division of the Waffen SS had their own distinctive wedding ring similar yet different than the standard type. The Leibstandarte model had the motto of the corps spelled out partially in runic symbols. The motto was ‘Meine Ehre Heisst Treue” or My Honor is Loyalty and these brave men stayed absolutely and resolutely true to these words.
