The Stricking of the Door, symbolices the initial resistance of the jewish people and when its open the triunphal entry of Our Lord into Jersualem both early and heavenly, The Gates of Heaven were closed since Adam; but Jesus, the King of glory, opened them, the gates of heaven would only be opened by the key of His Cross, Only by striking against those doors with the Holy Wood of the Cross could them be thrown open
