ยฒโด "And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
ยฒโต In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; ยฒโถ And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."
This short Biblepassage, these three verses actually, provide instructions on how a servant of the Lord our God should act. These verses emphasize gentle correction over argumentative fighting, with the ultimate goal of leading people to truth and repentance. Let these verses remind you today โ and tomorrow โ to keep a calm, sound and patient mind filled with kindness and meekness. May you find (the) peace of the Lord and with the Lord on your walk with Him today, because in times of turmoil and chaos, we may also know our moments of peace where fellowship is guided by love for God firstly and then love for each other that follows our love of God...

Bible Verses about Aliens -
Extraterrestrial Life or Demonic Spirits ?
What does the Bible say about aliens ?
The Bible reveals that there is extraterrestrial life
But not as many suppose
Although the Bible does not speak of aliens who live on faraway planets
It does speak of...
"cosmic powers over this present darkness...spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places"
( ~ Ephesians 6:12 )
Could the UFO and Alien phenomenon people perceive today...
Actually be wicked spiritual forces to undermine our belief in God ?
There are a lot of unknowns in the universe out there
Space is vast
And we cannot explore everything out there
There have been movies made about:
* Astronauts
* Sci-fi themes
* Aliens
As believers...
It is important to understand what we believe about extraterrestrial beings
Here is a list of Bible verses about themes relating to aliens below:

โ โWhen a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them.

The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces.
Their hair was like womenโs hair, and their teeth were like lionsโ teeth.
They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle.
They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months.
They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).
~ Genesis 6
When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
Then the LORD said, โMy Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal ; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.โ
The Nephilim were on the earth in those daysโand also afterwardโwhen the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.
The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
So the LORD said, โI will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have createdโand with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the groundโfor I regret that I have made them.โ
But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.
Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.
Now the earth was corrupt in Godโs sight and was full of violence.
God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.
So God said to Noah, โI am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.
So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.
This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long,
fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.
Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.
I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.
But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the arkโyou and your sons and your wife and your sonsโ wives with you.
You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.
Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.
You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.โ
Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

~ Ezekiel 1
In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
On the fifth of the monthโit was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachinโ
the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians. There the hand of the LORD was on him.
I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the northโan immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,
and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human,
but each of them had four faces and four wings.
Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.
Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four of them had faces and wings,
and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.
Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.
Such were their faces. They each had two wings spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body.
Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.
The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it.
The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.
As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces.
This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel.
As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went.
Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.
When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.
Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault, sparkling like crystal, and awesome.
Under the vault their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body.
When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.
Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings.
Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.
I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.
Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

~ Ezekiel 1
Reveals Godโs mobile glory amidst human suffering
Assuring exiled believers that He is not limited by location
Ezekiel sees a powerful, sovereign God on a throne above chaotic, complex living creatures
This vision calls us to worship in awe
Trusting that
God Reigns
Sees All
AND IS WITH US !
Reflection:
Ezekiel was in exile
Surrounded by the ruins of his nation...
Yet God gave him a vision not of destruction...
But of absolute sovereignty
The wheels in his vision were covered in eyes
Symbolizing that God sees all
And the creatures moved at the speed of lightning
Showing His power is not restricted by distance or geography
Often...
We feel like our peace is in exile
Trapped by...
Circumstances
Anxiety
& Bad news
~ Ezekiel 1 teaches us that Godโs presence IS NOT CONFINED to a "temple"
Or a perfect situation
He is the God of the storm
The throne is not static...
It is mobile
God brings His presence to the difficult, desolate places
OF OUR LIVES
Acknowledge Godโs Sovereign Control:
When life feels out of control...
Remind yourself that God is on the throne
Not just in heaven
But over your specific circumstances
Worship Over Worry:
Ezekielโs response to seeing the glory of God was to fall facedown in worship
Instead of worrying...
Take time to reflect on Godโs power and majesty to shift your focus from your problems to His presence
Prayer...
Lord,
Thank You that You are not limited by my circumstances
Thank You that even when I feel far away or overwhelmed...
Your throne is near
I worship You for Your omnipresence and omnipotence
Help me to trust that You are working
Even when I cannot see it
In Jesusโ name,
Amen

Ezekiel | The Heavenly Vision of the Living Creatures (4K Cinematic Bible Experience)
The ground was still. The river was silent.
This 4K cinematic Bible experience brings to life one of the most
mysterious and terrifying visions in all of Scripture when a prophet
in exile looked up... and the heavens split open.
Ezekiel is not in the temple. He is not in Jerusalem.
He is a captive, by the waters of Babylon.
And yet the vision does not wait for holy ground.
A storm approaches from the north. Fire unfolds within itself.
And from the heart of the storm emerge four living creatures each with four faces, four wings, burning like torches.
Beside them: wheels. Not ordinary wheels.
Wheels within wheels, full of eyes, moving without turning.
Above them a crystal expanse. A throne of sapphire.
And upon the throne... the likeness of a man,
blazing with fire and wrapped in a rainbow of glory.
Ezekiel does not stand to worship.
He falls on his face.
Because this is not a dream. This...

Broeders en zusters,
Ik kwam deze uitspraak tegen:
"The most dangerous trap is just living and forgetting that God exists."
โฆ
Groet, Richard

Translation of the Dutch Christian Vault post:
Brothers and sisters,
I came across this statement:
"The most dangerous trap is simply living and forgetting that God exists."
The most dangerous trap is simply livingโฆ and forgetting that God exists.
Isnโt this exactly what we see around us today?
Many of us grew up with the Gospel from a young age.
We attended a Christian school, heard Godโs Word, knew about the Lord Jesus.
But then life happens.
Everyone leaves home, gets a job, a family, plans, worries.
And slowly but surely, God fades into the background.
Not always out of rebellionโฆ
but simply because this world swallows us up.
And so many lose their way.
It reminds me of the story of the Lord Jesus healing ten lepers.
Ten people were healed.
But only one returned to thank Him.
(Luke 17:15-18)
It is still the same today.
God gives us life, breath, and blessings, but how many people truly return to Him?
Let us therefore be careful not to fall into this trap:
just livingโฆ and forgetting that God exists.
Greetings, Richard

The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few

Saint Patrick was kidnapped by pirates and worked as a shepherd boy in county Antrim. He eventually escaped to France and made his way back to Britain. In his confession, he tells of a dream in which he heard God's call to return to Ireland.
"I was like a young stone lying in deep mud but he that is mighty lifted me up and placed on top of the wall; He called prayer, the glow of the spirit"
I used to pray often during the day, and the love of God increased in me more and more. My faith grew and my spirit was stirred.I used to rise at dawn for prayer, in snow, frost or rain, because of the glow of the spirit in me.
The gospel is liberation
from everything that
oppresses us but is
above all liberation

ยน After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

๐๐๐๐๐ฅ โ๐๐ฅ๐ฃ๐๐๐'๐ค ๐ป๐๐ช
From a historical and Protestant perspective, Saint Patrick's Day is the commemoration of a 5th century missionary who brought Christianity to Ireland, rather than the veneration of a Catholic Saint. While modern celebrations are largely secular, its roots are embedded in โ and the foundation of โ Irish religious tradition and, significantly, early American Protestant practices.
As I wrote earlier, Patrick was a 5th century missionary. A Romano-British missionary, to be precise. He was captured and enslaved in Ireland before returning to convert the population of that time. Protestants generally view him as a 'missionary hero', rather than a Roman Catholic Saint, as he lived before the formal formation of the papacy and often acted independently of Rome.
The Protestant Irish heritage of Saint Patrick's Day historically found, is that of the earliest documented celebrations of Saint Patrick's Day that show they were often organised by Protestants. The first recorded Saint Patrick's Day celebration in the American colonies was held by the Charitable Irish Society of Boston (Massachusetts) in 1737 โ which was established there by Protestant Irish immigrants.
Before the 1798 Irish Rebellion, the color associated with Saint Patrick was blue. Driven by nationalist movements of that time, blue was replaced by the color green to resemble the green homeland Ireland so many Irish immigrants remembered. This slowly led to a shift in focus.
In the 18th century American Protestants held parades to celebrate their Irish heritage. Often aligning with a sense of pride within the Irish Protestant community. They were proud to be Irish, and wanted to show everyone this on Saint Patrick's Day. Aside from this, the connections to the British Empire before the day, became more closely associated with Irish immigrants in the mid 19th century. Slowly it became to be a more patriotic than faith-centered celebration, leading to what it is now. A secular fusion of faith, patriotism towards the homeland Ireland, Irish culture, and festivities marked by shamrocks, gnomes and Guinness beer to be celebrating life itself.
