This lady said there is more witchcraft in America than in Africa. It's unfortunately true, because in America and the West in general, witchcraft poses as love, goodness, innocent entertainment and much more, yet seldomly just as it is: an abomination.

Most people don't even think witchcraft is real due to the role western society has given it: it's magic and only exists in fairy tales, series and movies, thus it can't be real. Well: it IS real. And we have to (daily)
put on the whole armor of God.

This is absolutely not an attack on America from me โ€“ not at all. I in fact love America
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโค๏ธโœจโค๏ธ However: we can't hide the truth just because the devil has hid himself in so many false teachings, doctrines and beliefs. Truth has to be told. Even the uncomfortable ones

โœจ Listen well to what our sister, and brother, in Christ from Truth Unveiling Ministries has to say to the lady's words... ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ•Š

โ€œAnd then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" ~ Matthew 7:23

Jesus' words may sound harsh to us...

But they also contain great truth

Great works will not earn a person entrance into the kingdom

Even astounding good works like those listed

( ~ Matthew 7:21โ€“22 )

Jesus has said that on "that day"

When He comes to establish His kingdom...

Some will point to their good works of...

Prophesying
Casting out demons
And doing other powerful works in His name

Those people will claim that their performance has earned

Or at least proven
A place in Christ's kingdom

To those people...

Christ will simply say He never knew them

Dismiss their supposedly great deeds as works of lawlessness

And command them to depart

If performing such mighty works...

Does not provide a way into His kingdom...

What will ?

Part 2 continues...

This is an example of how Scripture often presents statements requiring careful understanding

Jesus has said...

( ~ Matthew 7:21 )

That only those who do the will of His Father will enter

However...

The will of God for every person is to believe in Jesus

To receive the gift of the forgiveness of sin made possible by His death on the cross and to be declared righteous before God in that way

( ~ John 6:28โ€“29 )

Those who refuse to believe in this way...

Commit the sin of unbelief

( ~ John 16:9; ~ Hebrews 3:12 )

Eliminating the only way to be known by Christ

And welcomed into His kingdom

( ~ John 3:36; ~ Ephesians 2:8โ€“9 )

It's important to notice that Jesus is making an enormous claim in this verse about His role in the kingdom of heaven

He is the One who will declare whether someone can enter the kingdom of heaven

He is the Judge who will grant entrance

Or condemn those who have not placed their faith in Him alone

They will be separated from
Himself and the Father

This completes the second half of a two-part warning

Christians are not called to be naรฏve

Either about others

Or themselves

Believers ought to be sensitive to spiritual deception from others

( ~ Matthew 7:15โ€“20 )

As well as spiritual self-deception

~ Matthew 7:15โ€“23

Contains a two-sided warning about false believers

A religious leader may appear respectable and wise

But you must look at the fruit of his life

In order to know if he truly represents God

In the same way

It's possible for a person to claim to follow Jesus

Referring to Him as "Lord"

When they are not true believers

Only those who do the will of the Father

Will be allowed into the kingdom of heaven

Which Jesus defines as beginning with true belief

( ~ John 6:28โ€“29 )

Our good works might fool other people...

And might even fool ourselves...

BUT THEY CANNOT FOOL GOD

โž• For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:17

If you are NOT SECURE in your salvationโ€”or if you are NOT SAVEDโ€”you CAN have assurance that you will be in Heaven! FREELY DOWNLOAD (and share!) this booklet and have peace, knowing that you are going to Heaven:

๐Ÿ”– How to be Sure You are Going to Heaven by Dr. Thomas Cucuzza (pp.16)

"No Amount of Good Works Could Ever Be Enough to Get Us into Heaven

Many people think that trying to be good, being religious, stopping bad habits, or starting good ones will qualify them to enter Heaven.

Here's a list of some of the good things people think will help them get to Heaven. Yet according to the Bible, none of these can make us perfect in Godโ€™s sight:

โ–ถ๏ธTrying to keep the commandments
โ–ถ๏ธRepenting of all your sin
โ–ถ๏ธAttending church
โ–ถ๏ธSincerely trying to turn from sin
โ–ถ๏ธGetting water baptized
โ–ถ๏ธBeing sorry for your sin
โ–ถ๏ธKeeping ordinances or sacraments
โ–ถ๏ธCommitting yourself to God to try to live a better life
โ–ถ๏ธMaking Jesus the Lord of your life
โ–ถ๏ธTrying to get rid of bad habits
โ–ถ๏ธGiving money
โ–ถ๏ธPromising to be a better husband/wife
โ–ถ๏ธAsking Jesus into your heart
โ–ถ๏ธGiving your life to Christ

This list is not all inclusive, but it is indicative of what many people believe. It is not what the Bible says. The Bible says:

โ€œFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boastโ€ (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Think about it for a moment. If we have to be perfect to get into Heaven, and we have already sinned, no amount of โ€œgood worksโ€ will ever make us perfect.

Clearly, our good works cannot save us in any way, shape, or form. We have already failed and are disqualified. Each and every one of us stands condemned before God because of our sin.

Notice also that the Bible says that being 'saved' is not something one can achieve or earn. It is the gift of God and is not the result of good works." (Continued.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ You CAN KNOW for Sure that You will go to Heaven when You Die (5 minute video) by Pastor Jesse Martinez, Calvary of Tampa, BibleLine

โž•For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

โž•My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fatherโ€™s hand. John 10:29

THE BIBLE TEACHES:

โž• In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52

There are no signs in the Bible that tell us the exact day and hour when the rapture will occur. There will only be a last trumpet, and quicker than we can blink our eyes, we will meet the Lord in the airโ€”some in their resurrected bodies and some alive.

Yet, the return of the Lord is imminent!

Therefore, all of us who are born again and sure of our salvation should be witnessing to the lost, telling them the good news about our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Beloved, there is no time to waste, and there is no time like the present to tell about Jesus Christ's shed blood and sacrifice for the payment of sin (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to have everlasting life.

โž• And he [Jesus Christ] said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

โ“ Will you do as Jesus Christ commands, so that others might receive God's greatest giftโ€”eternal lifeโ€”just as you have?

โž• For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

God bless you!

On the Sunday before His death

Jesus began his trip to Jerusalem

Knowing that soon He would lay down his life for our sins

Nearing the village of Bethphage

He sent two of his disciples ahead

Telling them to look for a donkey and its unbroken colt

Jesus instructed the disciples to untie the animals and bring them to Him

Then Jesus sat on the young donkey and slowly, humbly...

Made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem

Fulfilling the ancient prophecy in
~ Zechariah 9:9

"Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey"

The crowds welcomed Him by waving palm branches and shouting...

"Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"

On Palm Sunday...

Part 3 / 15

On Palm Sunday...

Jesus and His disciples spent the night in Bethany

About two miles east of Jerusalem

Bethany is where Lazarus

(whom Jesus had raised from the dead)

And his two sisters, Mary and Martha, lived

Lazarus, Mary, and Martha were close friends of Jesus

And probably hosted Him and His disciples during the days leading up to Jesus' death

Jesus' triumphal entry is recorded in...

~ Matthew 21:1-11
~ Mark 11:1-11
~ Luke 19:28-44
~ John 12:12-19

The following morning...

Jesus returned with His disciples to Jerusalem

Along the way...

He cursed a fig tree because it had failed to bear fruit

Some scholars...

Believe this cursing of the fig tree represented God's judgment on the spiritually dead religious leaders of Israel

Others...

Think the symbolism extended to all believers

Demonstrating that genuine faith is more than outward religiosity

True living faith must bear spiritual fruit in a person's life

When Jesus arrived at the Temple...

He found the courts full of corrupt money changers

He overturned their tables

And cleared the Temple saying...

"The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be a house of prayer,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves"

~ Luke 19:46

On Monday evening...

Jesus stayed in Bethany again

Probably in the home of Lazarus, Mary, and Martha

Monday's events are recorded in

~ Matthew 21:12โ€“22
~ Mark 11:15โ€“19
~ Luke 19:45-48
~ John 2:13-17

On Tuesday morning...

Jesus and his disciples returned to Jerusalem

On their way...

They passed the withered fig tree

And Jesus spoke to His companions about the importance of faith

Back at the Temple...

Religious leaders were upset at Jesus for establishing Himself as a spiritual authority

They organized an ambush with the intent to place Him under arrest

But Jesus evaded their traps and pronounced harsh judgment on them

Saying...

"Blind guides!...For you are like whitewashed tombsโ€”beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people's bones and all sorts of impurity. Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness...Snakes! Sons of vipers! How will you escape the judgment of hell?"

~ Matthew 23:24-33

Later that afternoon...

Jesus left the city and went with His disciples to the Mount of Olives

Which sits due east of the Temple and overlooks Jerusalem

Here...

Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse

An elaborate prophecy about the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of the age

He speaks, as usual, in parables, using symbolic language about end times events

Including His Second Coming and the final judgment

Scripture indicates that...

This Tuesday...

Was also the day Judas Iscariot negotiated with the Sanhedrin

The rabbinical court of ancient Israel to betray Jesus

( ~ Matthew 26:14-16 )

After a tiring day of confrontation and warnings about the future...

Jesus and His disciples again returned to Bethany to stay the night

The tumultuous events of Tuesday...

And the Olivet Discourse are recorded in

~ Matthew 21:23โ€“24:51
~ Mark 11:20โ€“13:37
~ Luke 20:1โ€“21:36
~John 12:20โ€“38

The Bible doesn't say what the Lord did on the Wednesday of Holy Week

Scholars speculate that after two exhausting days in Jerusalem...

Jesus and His disciples spent this day resting in Bethany in anticipation of Passover

Just a short time earlier...

Jesus revealed to His disciples and the world...

By raising Lazarus from the dead

That he had power over death

After seeing this incredible miracle...

Many people in Bethany believed that...

Jesus was the Son of God

And put their faith in Him

Also in Bethany...

Lazarus' sister Mary lovingly anointed Jesus' feet...

With expensive perfume

Holy Week takes a somber turn on Thursday

From Bethany...

Jesus sent Peter and John ahead of Him to the Upper Room in Jerusalem to prepare for the Passover Feast

That evening after sunset...

Jesus washed His disciples' feet

As they prepared to share in the Passover

By performing this humble act of service...

Jesus demonstrated by example...

How His disciples should serve the church

Today...

Many churches practice foot-washing ceremonies...

As a part of their โ€‹Maundy Thursday services

Then...

Jesus shared the feast of Passover with His disciples...

Saying...

"I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. For I tell you now that I won't eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God."

~ Luke 22:15-16

As the Lamb of God...

Jesus was about to fulfill the meaning of Passover

By giving His body and his blood in sacrifice

Freeing us from sin and death

During this Last Supper...

Jesus established the Lord's Supper

Or Communion...

Instructing His followers to continually remember His sacrifice by sharing in the bread and wine

( ~ Luke 22:19-20 )

Later...

Jesus and His disciples left the Upper Room

And went to the Garden of Gethsemane

Where Jesus prayed in agony to God the Father

Luke's Gospel says...

"his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground"

~ Luke 22:44

Late that evening in Gethsemane...

Jesus was betrayed with a kiss by Judas Iscariot

And arrested by the Sanhedrin

He was taken to the home of Caiaphas, the High Priest

Where the whole council of the Sanhedrin had gathered to begin making their case against our Lord

In the early morning hours...

As Jesus' trial was getting underway...

Peter denied knowing his Master three times before the rooster crowed

Thursday's events are recorded in

~ Matthew 26:17โ€“75
~ Mark 14:12-72
~ Luke 22:7-62
~ John 13:1-38
