Goodmorning / afternoon everyone!
I have to elaborate a little on the lady of whom I shared the poem "The Outcast" yesterday. I found out Vicki Baird is a spiritual formation coach, poet and gnostic Christian. My only reason for sharing her poem was because I'm one of those outcasts of society. That's the only reason why I shared the poem. Also because I'm a poet myself. However: I wanted to warn people to not follow people who are into contemplative prayer, spiritual formation and other non-biblical and unbiblically sound doctrines.
May you liked that poem I shared yesterday so much that you thought about checking out more work of miss Baird, I'd love to advise you not to. Stick to God's word instead. Have a very blessed day ๐๐ฝ๐
Ps: if you do want to look into what she does, check out a post about it I will share later today

He used to be this chatty little kid who narrated everything he drew. "Mom look this is a dragon but a nice one, mom look this knight has your eyes." Now the house is so quiet I can hear the clock in the hallway from any room. His dad left when things got hard, said he couldn't handle the silence. So it's just me and Marcus and his pencils and this stack of paper I buy in bulk every two weeks because he goes through it like water.
Last week he slid this portrait across the kitchen table to me while I was paying bills. I looked down and my hands started shaking. This boy, this kid they said had no talent, drew a portrait so detailed I could practically feel the texture of the braids in the hair. The shading on the face, the eyes, everything was alive. He's eleven. He did this with a set of pencils and nothing else. I just held it and cried right there at the table and he came over and put his hand on my shoulder which is his way of saying it's okay mom.
I set up a little shop on the Tedooo app selling prints of his work because I wanted him to see that people out there value what he creates. No fees, just his art out in the world. The first order came in three days later and I showed him the notification on my phone. He didn't smile exactly, but he sat up straighter. Then a woman from Tennessee messaged through the Tedooo app asking if he could do a custom portrait of her late mother from a photo. I read it to him and he nodded yes before I even finished the sentence.
He still doesn't talk. I'm not going to wrap this up in some neat little bow and pretend art fixed everything. But my boy picks up his pencil every single morning now with purpose, not just escape. Those kids told him he was nothing. The world is slowly telling him otherwise and I will spend every day I have left making sure he hears it.

What I today learned when looking into who the lady is that wrote the poem "The Outcast" [link] that I shared yesterday and am sharing with you in truth, that a dear friend helped me see and I'm now passing on, is the following...
๐ธ๏ธ Who is Vicki Baird?
A spiritual formation coach who calls herself an Intuitive Coach on her website* where she offers group coaching sessions and individual coaching sessions.
Vicki Baird is the owner of Wisdom-Led Mindset Coaching, a company where Ms. Baird teaches women how to practice spiritual formation/contemplative prayer and how to "empower" themselves.
๐ธ๏ธ Should Vicki Baird be avoided?
Yes. And here below I will provide a few examples of quoted texts to show you her work and why it must be avoided.
"Together we recognize mental habits as patterns, not identities, reduce self-doubt without bypassing reality, strengthen trusting your thinking and inner guidance."
"You don't need to become someone else to trust yourself."
"I help intuitive women stay self-led under pressure."
"I've been supporting women for over two decades. First through intuitive readings, and then through coaching grounded in both mental fitness and intuitive discernment."
"Today, my work blends practical mindset tools..."
Notice how many terms are used that show zero focus on God or Jesus Christ and how He is replaced by "me" โ or in this case "self" by showing a one hundred percent focus on the "I"-persona.
Since Vicki Baird is a wisdom-led mindset coach, and on her website even a Positive Intelligence expert, rather than primarily identifying as a medium, she truthfully is one. Even though it now carries a few very fancy terms. While she has over 20 years of experience and previously provided intuitive readings, her current work focuses on helping women develop their own intuition, mental fitness, and self-trust. Again: all misleading information that isn't rooted in God's Word, contrary to what was implied by miss Baird herself.
โ--------------------------------------------------------------------------
* when you tap on the word website, you will be taken to the website of miss Baird so you can see for yourself who she is and how unbiblical it all is what she brings to the table. That being said...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's dive a little deeper. What is spiritual formation?
Follow me to part two... ๐๐ฝ
1/2
2/2 Part two
๐ธ๏ธ What is spiritual formation?
Spiritual formation in Christianity is a movement that is characterized by contemplative prayer, contemplative spirituality and mysticism.
One author described it as a movement that has provided a platform and channel through which contemplative prayer has entered the church. In almost every case it has been used to make people more Christ-like. However: when you are well-rooted in the word of God, you don't even need spiritual formation to become more like Jesus Christ. So why it was used to make people more Christ-like absolutely doesn't make sense to me. Because the origin of spiritual formation is โ unlike standard internet searches want to imply โ at itself a movement to avoid.
Spiritual formation is a belief system that uses ancient mystical practices like channeling and divination to induce altered states of consciousness (simular to New Age) like practicing silence known as stillness, or being still by emptying the mind of all thoughts โ which is rooted in mysticism and the occult, but just like New Thought is wrapped in Christian terminology. New Thought itself is New Age doctrine that's been dipped in a Christian lingo-sauce.
*lingo means language
๐ธ๏ธ So why should we avoid spiritual formation?
The answer is extremely easy: we cannot serve two masters. Holy Scripture is very clear on this in
God's Word is also VERY CLEAR on practices like divination (and channeling spirits). We can read about it in

๐ธ๏ธ So why should we avoid spiritual formation?
The answer is extremely easy: we cannot serve two masters. Holy Scripture is very clear on this in
Matthew 6:24: "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."God's Word is also VERY CLEAR on practices like divination (and channeling spirits). We can read about it in
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Leviticus 19:26-31 in the Old Testament. So my question is: why would you go against God's will for you if you claim to love Him? Let that also be a question you'll ask yourself. And: Do you truly love God and if so, do you love Him enough to die to yourself and what you want, to pick up your cross daily and follow Him by doing what God wants you to do or to not do? Let this final question sink in well. And let it also show you where you need to grow in your faith and how.โซ๏ธ
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 | KJB ๐ยนโฐ There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
ยนยน Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
ยนยฒ For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
โซ๏ธ
Leviticus 19:26-31 | KJB ๐ยฒโถ Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
ยฒโท Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
ยฒโธ Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
ยฒโน Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
ยณโฐ Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
ยณยน Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

๐จ THE GREAT FALLING AWAY
Why would Jesus Christ say, โwhen the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on earth?โ (Luke 18:8).
The last days will not find faith all over the earth. They will be days of apostasy. Our Lord has already told us it will be like the days of Noah, where people turn a deaf ear of the warnings from God. So many professing Christians will have departed from the faith by the time Jesus Christ returns.
โ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;โ 2 Thess. 2:3
Look at the sheer number of false prophets and teachers around the world. Look at the number of unbiblical traditions, movements, associations, and practices that have crept into churches around the world.

โ Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.โ2 Timothy 2:19
โ But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:17-25

Based on historical research, it is estimated that between 1 million and 1.25 million European Christians were captured and enslaved by Muslim corsairs on the Barbary Coast alone between 1530 and 1780.
This number focuses on North Africa, but when including the Ottoman Empireโs Black Sea slave trade and other regional captures, the figures are higher.
Numbers of European Slaves:
Barbary Slave Trade (1530โ1780): Approximately 1 to 1.25 million white European Christians were enslaved in North Africa (modern-day Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya).
Total European Captives (1500โ1800):
Historian Robert Davis estimated that during these centuries, roughly 2 million Christians were enslaved in North Africa and the Near East.
Black Sea Slave Trade (1450โ1700): Additional estimates suggest as many as 2.5 million more people, many of them Eastern European, were taken during this period.
Medieval Period: During the early Middle Ages, hundreds of thousands of Europeans were enslaved in Al-Andalus (Islamic Iberia).
Religion of the Slaves:
Primarily Christian: The vast majority of these European slaves were Christians (both Catholic and Orthodox).
Pagans / Others: During earlier periods (8thโ10th century), many Slavic slaves (referred to as Saqaliba) were pagans or converts to Christianity.
Renegades: Some slaves, after being forced into captivity, converted to Islam to gain freedom (as enslavement of Muslims was forbidden).
These converts were known as "renegades".
Context: The enslavement was often driven by religious conflict ("faith slavery")
Common Captives:
Most slaves were sailors captured at sea, or fishermen, villagers, and coastal residents from Italy, Spain, Greece, France, England, and Ireland.

THIS IS A POWERFUL TESTIMONY I HAD TO SHARE ๐๐ป Never denounce your faith, stay true to your beliefs in the face of tyranny ...
In February 2015, ISIS brutally persecuted 21 Coptic Christian men on a beach in Libya.
For weeks, their families held onto hope, but on February 15, 2015, ISIS released a video titled โA Message Signed with Blood to the Nation of the Cross.โ
These men, mostly Egyptian workers, had been kidnapped in December 2014 and were murdered simply because they refused to deny their faith. In the horrifying video, they were seen dressed in orange jumpsuits, kneeling before their killers. They were given a final chance to renounce their Christian faith, but instead, their last words were โYa Rab Yesouhโ (โO Lord Jesusโ).
In that group of 21 men, one was not originally a Christian. Matthew Ayariga, a migrant worker from Ghana, had been captured alongside the Egyptian Christians. When he was asked to renounce his faith, he refused, even though he was not Christian. Witnessing the faith of the others, he made their faith his own, choosing to die as a Christian rather than save himself by denying Christ. His last words were, โTheir God is my God.โ In that moment, he became a Christian and was martyred alongside them, sealing his faith with his own blood.
Their faith in the face of persecution shook the world. The Coptic Orthodox Church later canonized them as martyrs, and their sacrifice remains a powerful story of Christian resilience.

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"

This verse promises that God faithfully continues to refine and sanctify believers until Christ's return
God does not leave His work unfinished
He will "perform it"
(complete it)
~ Philippians 2:13
Further confirms this:
"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure"
This "good work"
Is the lifelong process of sanctification
Making believers more like Christ
Even when the journey feels long...
This verse provides assurance that God is still shaping and refining
This promise is designed to provide comfort and encouragement that
GOD IS STILL ACTIVE

Daarom spreekt Jezus zo duidelijk:
โIndien dan uw rechteroog u ergert, ruk het uit en werp het van u;
want het is u nut dat รฉรฉn van uw leden verga,
en niet uw gehele lichaam in de hel geworpen worde.โ
-- Evangelie volgens Mattheรผs 5:29 (SV)--
Niet omdat God hard is,
maar omdat Hij weet wat er gebeurt
als de oorzaak blijft bestaan.
De Bijbel zegt het ook zo:
โWie zijn overtredingen bedekt, zal niet voorspoedig zijn,
maar wie ze belijdt en nalaat, die zal barmhartigheid verkrijgen.โ
-- Spreuken 28:13--
Groet, Richard

Translation of the Dutch Christian Vault post:
We may all recognize this.
Facing our problems is painful. We'd rather hide them away.
But what we hide doesn't disappear โ it festers.
The longer we put it off, the greater the damage becomes.
And slowly, often unnoticed, our hearts harden.
Let me explain this with a simple metaphor.
Suppose there's a small leak in a house. At first, it seems harmless.
The wood dries out again, stays strong, and everything seems under control.
But if that leak persists โ month after month, year after year โ everything changes.
The wood softens, rots, and eventually mold takes over.
Mold can't exist without that leak.
If you don't remove the cause, the problem will keep growing.
This also applies to our hearts.
What we leave unresolved continues to influence us.
What we don't address shapes us from within.
That's why Jesus speaks so clearly:
"If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away;
for it is profitable for you that one of your members perish,
than that your whole body be cast into hell."
-- Matthew 5:29 --
Not because God is harsh,
but because He knows what happens
if the cause persists.
The Bible also says:
"He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy."
-- Proverbs 28:13 --
God doesn't call us to hide things,
but to remove them.
Not to condemn, but to heal.
Just as a leak must be repaired to prevent further damage,
so we must bring everything that separates us from Him to Him โ
no matter how painful, before hardening turns to rot.

"If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away;
for it is profitable for you that one of your members perish,
than that your whole body be cast into hell."
-- Matthew 5:29 --
Not because God is harsh,
