A man named Cody Ennis in Michigan spent about three to four years growing his hair out to let it reach over two feet long, with only one special purpose in mind: to have it made into a wig for his girlfriend – Hannah Hosking – who lives with alopecia, which is an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss. After letting his hair grow for years, he finally cut it and sent it off to be fashioned into a custom made wig so she could wear natural-human hair.

The gesture touched many online, with people calling it a deeply personal & loving act of support and dedication. For Hannah, receiving a wig made from the hair grown especially for her was emotional and made her feel uniquely seen and cared for, and for Cody it was a meaningful way to show love and solidarity with her experience.

Reflection on Psalm 84:11

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

What a beautiful promise this verse holds

The Lord is both our sun bringing light, warmth, and life

And our shield offering protection, covering, and defense

In Him...

We find both the strength to move forward and the safety to rest

He gives grace for the journey

And glory as our reward

And here's the assurance that strengthens our hearts...

No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly

When we walk in obedience...

Even through trials or delays...

We can trust that God is not holding out on us

He's holding us together

If something is good...

He'll provide it

If it hasn't come yet...

Either the timing isnt right...

Or

He has something even greater in store

"Every eye shall see him" is a biblical prophecy from Revelation 1:7 (often paired with Zech 12:10) regarding the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, indicating a universally visible event rather than a secret, localized, or purely spiritual occurrence. It signifies that both believers and unbelievers—including those who "pierced him"—will behold Him in glory.
