Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
Colossians 3:12
[PRAYER]
We didn't choose You, You chose us! Chosen because You love us and long for us to live holy lives. I want to live a holy live! I want to clothe myself in deep compassion. Let your goodness flow through me. I want to be humble. Train me in gentleness and teach me to have patience with other people, including myself.
Jesus, thank you for choosing me to live a holy live.

Ephesians 2:11a, 12-13 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the fleshโthat at that time you were without Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Yeshua the Messiah you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah.

Iโm over here lingering on that little footprint on the left. (you might need to open the picture to see it)
Does this happen to you?
Itโs like God highlights certain things โ little things meant just for you and Him.
For reasons I canโt fully explain, that tiny footprint took me straight back to the most important moment of my life.
The moment I let Him.
The moment I submitted.
I know โ this culture hates that word.
But it was the very best thing I could have done.
It is the very best thing we can do.
To let Him.
To submit to His plan, His ideas, His course correction, His best.
I havenโt been an easy child for Him.
But when everything shattered, I let Him take control.
I listened more closely to His voice.
I read His Word more deeply.
And in that place, He brought comfort. And so much peace.
It was like I could breathe again. Finally.
My circumstances didnโt change โ but I did.
And I am so grateful.
That last little footprint in the story is important, isnโt it?
Yes, sometimes we still wrestle free and insist on making our own footprints.
But every time โ no matter what โ Heโs there.
Always ready to scoop us back up.
Always ready to make things right again.
So this morning, as I pray for you, I wonderโฆ
Can you remember the moment you let Him?
The moment the little footprints stopped โ so the One who knows the way could lift you up, and do His best work?
It was good, wasnโt it?
Let yourself linger there.
In the awe of it all.
There is never a time we have to do any of this alone.
He is walking us through.
Wanting and willing to carry us. To make a way. To heal us, help us and hold us.
Letโs let Him.

Daddy Yankee publicly declared his faith in Jesus Christ at his final concert in December 2023, telling the crowd, โJesus lives in me, and I will live for Him.โ
After decades of global fame, he shared that success left a void only Christ could fill. Marking his retirement from reggaeton, Yankee announced a new chapter โ dedicating his life, platform, and his voice to serving Jesus and pointing others toward purpose beyond the spotlight ever since...

Jesus' Sermon on the Mount
Now comes to one of the most famous statements in all of Scripture
It is often referred to as the
" Golden Rule "
" Do unto others as you would have them do unto you "
It's easy for modern readers to forget how much Christ's teachings changed the world
And how ingrained some of His ideas have become into western culture
This statement is vaguely similar to remarks made by other spiritual leaders in history
But it comes with a drastically different perspective
"Don't do to anyone what you would not want done to you "
In almost all cases
This mostly implies that one ought to
"do no harm,"
Meaning not to actively do evil
Jesus' phrasing goes much further
Positive action is part of the rule
God expects us to do
To actively pursue
That which we would like to see from others
This idea is expanded in Jesus' later comments and commandments of God..........

Part 2 continues...
~ Matthew 22:34โ40
"But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets"
The fact that Jesus taught the Golden Rule endorses this principle as the will of God
Jesus also teaches here that this was the proper explanation behind the Law of Moses
And God's word to Israel through the prophets
God wants His people to treat others as they want to be treated
This is an incredibly helpful maxim, since it can be applied to most situations in life
Without need for a specific rule for every possible incident
Later in Matthew's book...
Jesus will describe another set of commands as the basis for all the Law and the Prophets
Love God and love your neighbor as yourself
( ~ Matthew 22:34โ40 )
What Jesus calls the second greatest commandment
To love one's neighbor with the love one has for him- or herselfโpushes the Golden Rule past simply treating others with decency to being motivated by love for everyone
~ Matthew 7
Is the last of three chapters that record what is now known as the Sermon on the Mount
Jesus commands His hearers not to pronounce shallow or hypocritical judgment
He describes God as a generous Father eager to give good things to His children when they ask
He commands His followers to enter the narrow gate and walk the hard road to life
False prophets can be recognized by their fruit
Meaning their actions and choices
At the same time...
Good deeds are not absolute proof that someone has true faith
To live by Jesus' teaching...
Is like building the house of your life on a solid foundation instead of shifting sand
~ Matthew 22:34โ40

BIJBEL & FEITEN โ STOF VAN DE AARDE
โDe HEERE God vormde de mens uit het stof van de aardbodem.โ
โ Genesis 2:7
precies zoals Genesis 3:19 zegt:
โStof bent u en tot stof zult u terugkeren.โ
De Bijbel leert geen mythologie,
maar een realiteit die wij pas duizenden jaren later wetenschappelijk kunnen meten.
Schepping is geen toeval.
De mens is gevormd uit de aarde โ en afhankelijk van zijn Schepper.

Translation of the Dutch Christian Vault post:
BIBLE & FACTS โ MATTER OF THE EARTH
"The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground."
โ Genesis 2:7
Modern science today confirms something remarkable: all the chemical elements that make up the human body come from the earth.
Calcium from rocks,
iron from minerals,
sodium and potassium from the soil,
carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen from creation itself.
When a person dies, these elements return to the earth โ
exactly as Genesis 3:19 says:
"You are dust, and to dust you shall return."
The Bible does not teach mythology,
but a reality that we can only measure scientifically thousands of years later.
Creation is not a coincidence.
Man is formed from the earth โ and dependent on his Creator.
