Hello all.

This morning I woke up with a song playing in my mind, but ignored it.
Hold On, by Wilson Phillips.

I made the coffee and sat with my thoughts.
It’s crazy how fast worry creeps in when you are on a journey to trust in God.

I worried about the future. Where my children and I would go if it didn’t all happen before I have to sell this house, as the divorce states.
In a town where the cost of living has tripled, it could be a problem.
I felt my stomach start to
Cramp and tension building in my neck.
My peaceful morning morphed into a worry fest of thoughts of how to make everything ok for everyone.

Then I remembered that I don’t have to do that.
All is well now and there are no wolves at the door.
God has always provided.

I chose not to allow those
negative thoughts to ruin my positive creation.
Trust in God and let him lead.
I walked into the guest-room, which I turned into a library.
I felt a draft and realized that I left a window open last night.
I closed it and turned to leave.
Something caught my eye in the built in bookshelves.
I have about 100 books there, but one shelf stood out.
One book and it was Yellow.
A reminder today that we can choose to resist falling back into old cycles.
Apparently it is my destiny to do so.

Keep the faith.
