Good morning everyone. I just wanted to check in with everyone. I’m ok. (For now) no surgery just yet but it is needed. I just got home a bit ago. I’m not aloud to do anything at all for a few days. While in the mri my lower disk popped back into place and over the next several hours it began releasing the nerve. There is a lot going on in there so the drs are wanting me to get an appointment with the neurosurgeon of my choice, and also see my neurologist. There is something going on with my spine that allows my spine to constantly pop in and out. The squishy stuff between my bottom disk is almost completely gone so it’s bone on bone. I also have several major disk bulges and spurring on my hips, my pelvis, my tailbone and the middle of my spine, all of which are pressing on nerves. There is something stenosis and several other things going on. The Dr gave me some pretty high doses of morphine for pain but it was because I wasn’t able to get other pain meds due to them having the ability to thin my blood so because they were moving me around constantly last night that was my only option. This will take a while to work its way out of my system. Once I get some rest I have some appointments to get made. All appointments from today through Wednesday/Thursday will be rescheduled promptly. I realized this morning once I was home that I forgot my little stack of papers showing everything that was going on with my back so I have to figure out how to get those because I need them for both surgeon and neurologist. So today I will be sleeping, or trying to anyway. I’ve been up for well over 24 hours straight now.
