Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "A man used to give loans to the people and used to say to his servant, 'If the debtor is poor, forgive him, so that Allah may forgive us.' So when he met Allah (after his death), Allah forgave him."

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Prophet (ﷺ) drew up a square and in the middle of it he drew a line, the end of which jutted out beyond the square. Further across the middle line, he drew a number of smaller lines. Then he (ﷺ) said, "The figure represents man and the encircling square is the death which is encompassing him. The middle line represents his desires and the smaller lines are vicissitudes of life. If one of those misses him, another distresses him, and if that one misses him, he falls victim to another."

[Al-Bukhari].

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"DO you know who the bankrupt is?"

They said: "O Messenger of Allah! The bankrupt among us is the one who has no Dirham nor property."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The bankrupt in my Ummah is the one who comes with Salat and fasting and Zakat on the Day of Judgement, but he comes having abused this one, falsely accusing that one, wrongfully consuming the wealth of this one, spilling the blood of that one, and beating this one. SO he is seated, and this one is requited from his rewards. If his rewards are exhausted before the sins that he committed are requited, then some of their sins will be taken and cast upon him, then he will be cast into the Fire."

[Sahih (Darussalam)]

Allah says :“but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah”

[ash-Shoora 42:40].

Shaykh as-Sa‘di ( may Allah have mercy on him) said: Stating that the reward of the one who forgives is due from Allah motivates him to forgive and to treat others as he wants Allah to treat him. Just as he wants Allah to forgive him, he should forgive others, and just as he wants Allah to pardon him, he should pardon others, for the reward is of the same nature as the deed.

End quote from Tafseer as-Sa‘di (p. 760).

When Fāṭimah (رضي الله عنها) was suffering from the hardship of the hand mill and grinding, she sought to ask the Prophet ﷺ for a maid-servant to help her. Instead, he taught her to say Allāhu Akbar 34 times, Alḥamdulillāh 33 times, and Subḥān Allāh 33 times before sleeping, which would be better for her than a servant.

‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) added, “I have never failed to recite it ever since." Somebody asked, "Even on the night of the battle of Siffin?" He said, "Even on the night of the battle of Siffin.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 5362)

From the profound benefits of this prescribed remembrance is that it grants a person strength that surpasses and compensates for the need of any external, physical assistance. I was admonished by ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) to persist in this remembrance and never abandon it, not for a single night. And all praise is due to Allah.

-Shaykh Musa Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى)

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "For every betrayer there will be a flag by which he will be recognized on the Day of Resurrection."

When you believe in miracles, when you believe in the power of prayer, when your thoughts are positive, when your intentions are pure, when your patience is beautiful and when you think good of Allah, anything can happen for you. Allah can change it all in a second.

—“When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.” [Al baqarah : 117]
