FUPS2018 reminds Past Present and Future of Public Space International Conference2013
FUPS2018 remindes Past Present and Future of Public Space International Conference2013 in Bolognia. This conference was the first meeting of the Past Present and Future of Public Space Research Group, focused on public space, cities and urbanity. The second meeting took place in 2016 in Venice, in the frame of Biennale Sessions, a special educational project of La Biennale di Venezia.
A third meeting is expected in 2018. It's on of the events of City Space Architecture which is an international nonprofit organization based in Bologna (Italy) with a mission to studying, making, spreading and sharing public space culture, through an interdisciplinary approach involving art and architecture.City Space Architecture is partner of the UN-Habitat's Global Public Space Programme. City Space Architecture is included in the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs' Civil Society database.City Space Architecture is engaged in the United Nations General Assembly of Partners (GAP), Research and Academia Partner Constituent Group.

🔹بسیاری از نظریه پردازان در طول تاریخ نظیر لوییس مامفورد، ریچارد سنت و کن ورلوپ مدعی هستند که فضاهای عمومی موفق به لحاظ عملکردی، در تقویت دموکراسی و حیات متمدنانه نقشی بنیادی دارا هستند.
🔹وارلوپ و گرینهلژ (۱۹۹۶)، متعقد هستند:" میتوان این گونه استدلال کرد که فضای عمومی،در حال حاضر در مطالبه زندگی شهری عادلانه،پایدار و غنی واجد اهمیت سیاسی- مرکزی است.
