♦️Discovery Green is a beautiful, vibrant 12-acre park in the heart of downtown Houston that opened to the public in April 2008.
♦Discovery Green includes a family destination on a small lake with a cafe, playground and interactive fountain, library branch, and a stage for performances. there is also a restaurant with a treehouse terrace and an oak shaded promenade for markets, fairs, exhibits and other events. in winter, there is an ice rink which has become a major attraction combined with movie showings, hodiday markets, and concerts.

♦️با افزایش جستجو برای برنامه ریزی شهری پایدار، آرمان شهر متراکم و سبز با تراکم بالا، کاربری زمین مختلط و زیرساخت های جذاب سبز، تبدیل به یک شکل شهری مطلوب در مقیاس جهانی شده است. سبز سازی شهری Urban greening، شامل باغسازی شهری Urban gardening، دوباره مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. در قالب شهر متراکم، معانی، فرم ها و عملکردهای باغسازی شهری برای کمک به پایداری شهری بازنویسی شده اند و این فضاها را به موضوع مورد بحث مذاکره تبدیل کرده اند.
♦️این مطالعه کیفی که در شهرهای سوئیس انجام شده است و به بررسی چگونگی معنای باغسازی شهری در فرآیند مذاکرات سیاسی و اینکه چگونه عقلانیت های مختلف فضا یک نظم هژمونیک را ایجاد می کنند، و ساخت سایت های باغسازی شهری به عنوان فضاهای مورد بحث می پردازد.
♦️یافته ها نشان می دهد که استراتژی های رشد شهری در قالب شهر متراکم، با هدف سازماندهی کارآمد و صرفه جویانه فضای شهری، به طور فزاینده ای روند دگرگونی جاری را تصدیق می کنند. در حالی که فرم های سنتی باغسازی شهری متوقف شده، به مکان های با اهمیت کمتر برای طرح های توسعه شهری منتقل شده و یا به شرایط فضایی و کاربردی تبدیل شده است، فرم های جدید باغسازی شهری متناسب با آرمان های فعلی مناظر شهری و در مناطق درونی شهر ظهور می کنند.

FUPS2018 reminds Past Present and Future of Public Space International Conference2013
FUPS2018 remindes Past Present and Future of Public Space International Conference2013 in Bolognia. This conference was the first meeting of the Past Present and Future of Public Space Research Group, focused on public space, cities and urbanity. The second meeting took place in 2016 in Venice, in the frame of Biennale Sessions, a special educational project of La Biennale di Venezia.
A third meeting is expected in 2018. It's on of the events of City Space Architecture which is an international nonprofit organization based in Bologna (Italy) with a mission to studying, making, spreading and sharing public space culture, through an interdisciplinary approach involving art and architecture.City Space Architecture is partner of the UN-Habitat's Global Public Space Programme. City Space Architecture is included in the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs' Civil Society database.City Space Architecture is engaged in the United Nations General Assembly of Partners (GAP), Research and Academia Partner Constituent Group.

🔹در صورت وجود شبكهي يكپارچه و پيوستهي دوچرخهسواري، دوچرخه سريعترين حالت سفر ميباشد (مفهوم سرعت موثر نيز در درك اين موضوع كمككننده است).
🔹در دوچرخهسواري ارتباط افراد با محيط اطرافشان بيشتر است. بنابراين آنها به شناخت بهتري از محيط دست مييابند.
🔹وجود تسهيلات انتهاي سفر در محل كار، در ايجاد انگيزه براي دوچرخهسواري موثر است.
