Semenyo came down with a fever yesterday so hasn’t been able to train or have the ankle issue he’s been managing assessed.

I used both free transfers this week, including bringing in Munoz for his 14 point haul which was great timing. I’m really happy with my play this season. Now it’s onto FH13 or FH14, with FH13 looking most likely. I also bought Thiago last night for his rise as he fits both routes. Hoping to break into the top 100k soon, with my original goal being top 500k by GW15.

Here’s my Gameweek 13 Free Hit team.

Chips left: Triple Captain

My aim with this Free Hit was to maximise projected points while also prioritising CoVar/stacking (see my pinned tweet). Some players had too much expected value to ignore: Haaland, Salah, Foden, Thiago, O’Reilly, Schade, B. Fernandes, and Cash.

That left 3 spots to maximise CoVar. With Thiago and Schade locked in, I added Dango to complete the Brentford attacking triple-up. With Cash locked, I chose Martinez and Pau to form an Aston Villa defensive triple-up. I picked Pau over Konsa due to lower ownership and equal EV.

The Collins + Rogers alternative was ~0.2 better for expected points, but far worse for CoVar (no triple attack or defence). Rogers’ data is also poor, and that route has higher EO, so the triple-up path felt better. Senesi was also viable but has a large EO I'll bet against.
