A man on Facebook challenged me and try to prove that Jesus(AS) is God. I asked him for his proof, and he asked me to read Isaiah 9:6, it clearly shows that Jesus is God. Many many Christians quote this verse to show that Jesus is God. Now let us subject this verse and see if their assertion is right.
Here I quote the whole verse:
"Unto us, a child is born, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of peace" Isaiah 9:6. Let's break it down and see if indeed he is God.
" For us, a child is born"... The fact that he is born, and has been a child, he is not God. The fact that he has a mother who gave birth to him does not in the remotest sense qualify him to be God. A God coming out from a woman's private part????
" To us, a son is born"...again a son is born means a righteous son is born, which clearly from a linguistic point of view cannot be God.
"And the government will be on his shoulders"....Which government? Jesus has never ruled even a square foot of the land of Israel when he was on earth. His government arrested him, beat him up, stripped him naked, spat on him, and hanged him on a tree naked with only a napkin on him.
"And he will be called Wonderful Counselor"..Of course, he counseled many people and advised them on goodness just like many Counselors we have today in our midst.
" He will be a Mighty God".... were in any part of the Bible from cover to cover has he ever been addressed as Mighty God? Please show me. On the contrary, he said: My father is greater than I, my father is greater than all. He said: Oh our Father who art in heaven.
He said: This is life eternal, the Only One true God, and Jesus, whom you sent...He said: Of that day and hour knoweth no man, not the angels, not even (me) the son, but the Father alone.
"Everlasting Father" How can he be Everlasting when according to the Christians he is dead and has changed form? He is not in Israel now since he came to earth. He cannot be Everlasting. The real God, the Creator is Everlasting from whence there was no Everlast.
"Prince of peace" All Muslims believe Jesus was a prince of peace, just like all Prophets and Messengers sent were princes of peace. But your own Bible in the book of Matthew 10:34 Jesus said: Do not think that I have come to bring peace, no, I come to bring SWORD. I have come to divide mother and father, a man and his neighbor....."
Unfortunately, Jesus is saying one thing and you are doing another thing. Between you and Jesus who is telling the truth??? We Muslims believe Jesus is speaking the truth, for such is he(AS)
Watch how these Christians will jump on me accusing me of denigrating Jesus when in fact I am only presenting facts and logic and common sense. Watch again, they will turn around and accuse me of not having Holy Ghost.

The Muslims believe in a book given to Jesus by God for the spiritual guidance of The Children of Israel call INJIL, EVANGEL(good news). The Qur'an does not recognize the so-called Bible, because the came about long after Jesus left the earth. But the four gospels truly have some elements of the teachings of the Injil in them. Again, Islam does not recognize a book given or written by the four gospel writers. The internal evidence in the Bible we have also shown that not all that's in it came from Jesus, for that reason the gospel writers make it known to us by putting the words of Jesus into RED LETTERS.
There are .any things not found in the Bible which the Qur'an has mentioned. In the book of John 16:12, Jesus said " ...I have many things to tell you.....and also " when he comes, he will tell you lots of things", indicating that after him someone will receive a message from God and will pass you all things. We believe after Jesus, the only Prophet who came and established the Kingdom of God is Mohammad. And truly, the Qur'an claimed that everything is mentioned in it, and no book will ever come to supersede it. The standing challenge is still demanding.....

😅😁serious question. But let me try to make sense of this question to satisfy the questioner:
If hypothetically there is no God and all religions are wrong, then human life would be meaningless, because in that case the universe itself hasn't existed spontaneously would be pointless. It will be like playing a part in a pointless play.
But the fact that we exist is proof enough that God exists. Why? Because the 2nd laws of thermodynamics indicate that nothing can come into existence without a primal mover, and this law does not apply to the mover, who is not affected by any laws or bound by it.....

IS THERE A PROOF THAT THE PROPHET MOHAMMAD WAS TAUGHT THE BIBLE BY SOMEONE?....
The commonalities you see is a proof that both the Prophets came from the same source. Does the Prophet have to present the opposite of what the previous Prophets presented before he is to be believed as coming from God?
Is like asking: Does it mean that Jesus copied the Old Testament? Because most of what he presented were also presented by Moses.
The Qur'an teaches that both Moses, Jesus and Mohammad (pbut), came from the same school....

Some people have six fingers, does that mean the whole concept of five fingers is washed out?
Even male seahorses do get pregnant and carry the eggs from females. How do we classify that?
Platypus, live in both on land and in the ocean, they lay eggs and breastfeed their young. Science couldnt classify them.
If 99% of the categorized items are males and females and a handful happens to be deformed or edged up a little from normalcy, that doesnt change the fact that all creatures are created in pairity....

ISLAM DISCRIMINATE AGAINST FEMALES THATS WHY MEN ARE ALLOWED TO MARRY UP TO FOUR WIVES....
Now, if men are to marry 10 women under his roof and they get pregnant, there will be no questions ask, everyone will point to their husband. But if women are to marry more than one husband and get pregnant, there will be war in the house because each male will claim he owns the baby.
Again as of last two years Pew Research Foundation, and Helena Rubinstein Foundation, if all men should get married in America, there will be over 8.9 million women without husbands. The same is true with Africa, Europe and Asia with the exception of India. In India because of the infanticide of females in the womb. This case is true to all the world. If there are more women in the world and no mechanism set in place to balance the ration equilibrium, there will be chaos in our societal order.
God in His wisdom, gave us a way out to solve our problems by taking in more than one, only and only if one can deal justly with them.

THE QUR'AN IS IN ARABIC, THE AZAN IN ARABIC AND THE WAY WE DRESS AND WORSHIP IS IN ARABIC STYLE, ISN'T ISLAM IMPOSING THE ARABIC CULTURE TO MUSLIMS?........
Yes the Qur'an was revealed in Arabic, just like Torah was revealed in Hebrew, and the Injeel (Gospel) was revealed in Aramaic. The Qur'an stated that Allah does not send a Messenger except in the language of his people. The Arabic language, been the language that Allah has chosen to reveal His last revelation incapsulate a clear expression capable of been the language of revelation. The grammar and the syntex it has, have the ability to convey comprehensive message for all mankind. It is a lingua-franca par-excellence when compare to any language.
As for the mode of dress, any decent and morally minded person will choose islamic dress over the ones we see out there, which attracts indecency, causing rapes and sexual tendencies. Mary, the mother of Jesus dressed like the muslims do, Rebecca, and many good exemplary moralist dressed the Islamic way. Beside, its an order from our Creator.
As for our mode of worship in Islam, there is no difference with how: Noah, Ibrahim, Moses and Jesus worshipped, surrendering their will to the One and only God.

Since we believe God exist and He created us, then it goes on to make sense that He should be in position to give us a law that is conducive and consistent with our nature, just like a manufacturer of a product includes a manual to be followed to operate the product nicely and safely. In the absence of divine laws, mankind will be wallowing in his imperfect laws and regulations, subjected to failure day by day. EXPLANATION OF ROMANS 1:25: " WHO CHANGED TBE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE, AND WORSHIPPED AND SERVED THE CREATURE MORE THAN THE CREATOR, WHO IS BLESSED FOR EVER, AMEN"....
The explanations of Romans 1:25 is self explanatory. The same Bible says' Thou shall not have any strange gods beside me'. And we know that tbe Father is God, Tbe son is God, and The holy ghost is God ARE STRANGE.
And the book of Jeremiah 8:8 says: Do you think that we have tbe law of Moses with us still? Behold tbe lying pen of tbe scribes has turned it into a LIE.
So, clearly the only Monotheistic Religion on earth today with uncompromising in its worship of ONE GOD is Islam. All Prophets taught One God, but the Christian churches has introduces a strange gods in the equation. The verse of Roman is holding the polythistics responsible for changing the nature of God. The Qur'an also said regarding tbe Roman verse: Woe unto those who wrote the books within hands, a d tben say its from Allah, woe to the hand that wrote it, and woe to tbe benefit they make out of it".
Its time to reason and embrace Islam....

WAS JESUS TRULY BORN ON DECEMBER 25TH?....
No. 99% of even the Christian orthodox churches don't believe he was born December 25th. Infact it was the sun-god Mithrai and the phanteons of Roma/Greeco gods were thought to have been born on that day. Most of the Christian rituals was borrowed from paganism. Please see Jeremiah 10:1....

CAN WOMEN LEAD SALAT IN ISLAM?....
Islamic prayers (salat) are composed of different physical postures. Out of respect for chastity and honor, women are not advised or allowed to stand in front of men for prayers.
This gives the women the complete freedom to make their row at the back behind the men. It also follows that a woman CANNOT lead a congregation of men, but she may lead a congregation of women and young children. In this case, the female imam must stand in the middle of the first row, and not ahead of the row as in the case of men.
Men and women have their separate duties in islam. But Allah has assigned the man to be the head of a woman, out of His infinite knowledge and wisdom. We shouldn't be asking or doing things the earlier generations did and were destroyed in their meager thinking.....

WHY IS IT THAT IT'S ONLY IN THE BOOK OF JOHN DO WE FIND THE DIVINITY OF JESUS, WHILE MATTHEW, MARK, AND JOHN ARE VIRTUALLY SILENT ON THAT?..............
Well, as if Jesus wasn't interested in teachings about himself in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, except only in the last of the four gospels (john). This crucial historical event creates problems because if the honest historical Jesus said he was God, it's tough to believe Matthew, Mark, and Luke would leave out that part as if it wasn't necessary to mention. They didn't say it. And so this view of the divinity of Jesus on his lips is found only in the gospel of John, which happens to be the latest of the four gospels.
All the first three gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) closely smell and resemble Jewish tradition. Still, scholars are almost in agreement that the rules of the Greeco/Roman and their paganistic systems heavily influenced the writer of the Book of John.
Bart Ehrman, a Professor par excellence specializing in the New Testament, has written extensive and well-researched books on such issues. Chief among the book he wrote:
1. WHO WROTE THE NEW TESTAMENT?
2. THE INTERRUPTED JESUS...
The question researchers are asking is: John, a Jew, and closer disciple and could also be the very brother to Jesus, could pen down these pagan teachings??. In fact, most, if not all, of the gospel of John has embellishments of pagan blood stains, which Jesus never taught his disciples. Like:
1. Eating the flesh of Jesus
2. Drinking the blood of Jesus
3. Eucharist, Atonement
4. Man/God, Resurrection
5. The Trinity,
6. Jesus, Man/God.......etc
7. Jesus, a word becomes a flesh
8. God, Son, Holy Ghost, all the same.
But mostly, the rest of the three gospels talk about:
1. One God
2. Jesus has been Prophet
3. Sent only to Israel
4. Follow the law of Moses for salvation.
5. Miracles are not mine.
6. I don't know the last day
8. The greater commandment is belief in One God.
9. Only One True God......etc.
All the previous Prophets and Messengers taught is the same as what he brought.
Jesus taught us that salvation can be found through following and adhering to the previous laws and the Prophets. And he is on that scale.
Plus, non of the disciples pen the books that their name bears. It was conveniently used to make it look believable.

WHO CREATED GOD
Whatever material that existed had a creator. everything we observe in nature has a beginning. God however is different from all nature and humanity and everything that exist, in that He has always exited. God is independent of whatever we can think of. God is not a dependent being, but self sufficient, self existence.
In that parameter in the line of thinking, its absolutely to ask WHO CREATED GOD. Its not a sound question, it will cause a domino effect of vicious and irrational cycle of irrelevant questions. He existed out of His own Glory without the impulses of time and place. Aristotle even said: There must be a reality that causes but itself uncaused. He alone is unaffected by any weakness. He is absolute. He is unique befitting His unique attributes.....

WHY DOES JESUS ALWAYS REFERS TO GOD AS HIS FATHER?...
The word FATHER in the Hebrew idiom referring to God, does not have any biological connotation at all from the beginning. Almost all the Hebraic Prophets referred to God with such name. It strengthen the bond, like father and son, but not physical or biological.

The word FATHER in the Hebrew idiom referring to God, does not have any biological connotation at all from the beginning. Almost all the Hebraic Prophets referred to God with such name. It strengthen the bond, like father and son, but not physical or biological.

Allah said he will perseved and protect the Quran why didn't he perseved and protect the previous scriptures
Well, in the past Allah sent Prophets and Messengers exclusively to their specific nations and intune with their particular cultures. The wisdom is for them to understand the precepts of the existence of One God and give up all man made philosophies. Their message wasn't meant for eternity, but as an introduction step by step till the final, complete and comprehensive message come for the whole humanity in the form of the Quran.
That's why all previous Prophets and Messengers prophesied about Mohammad. They were expected to recognize and follow the Quran as many of them did when Mohammad arrived. With the advent of the Quran, Allah took upon himself to ensure the perfect preservation and protection of the Quran. All one has to do is to travel all over the world, and will find that the Quran is the same unlike other scriptures.
But the essence of the message is basically the same: One God, One message and Mohammad the finality of the Messengers.......

WHO CREATED GOD
Whatever material that existed had a creator. everything we observe in nature has a beginning. God however is different from all nature and humanity and everything that exist, in that He has always exited. God is independent of whatever we can think of. God is not a dependent being, but self sufficient, self existence.
In that parameter in the line of thinking, its absolutely to ask WHO CREATED GOD. Its not a sound question, it will cause a domino effect of vicious and irrational cycle of irrelevant questions. He existed out of His own Glory without the impulses of time and place. Aristotle even said: There must be a reality that causes but itself uncaused. He alone is unaffected by any weakness. He is absolute. He is unique befitting His unique attributes.....

THE RELIABILITY OF THE BIBLICAL MANUSCRIPTS

Peace be upon those who will chance to read this piece of article with open mind. As per the caption on top of this article, I venture to say that the Bible cannot be reliable historically, researchicaly, intellectually and academically. The internal evidences make it absolutely clear that the Bible we have in our hand today cannot be from God Almighty. Even with the abundant of manuscripts at our disposal, the custodians of the Bible are telling us that no two manuscripts of the Bible are identical. These so call manuscripts are copies of what has been copied throughout the timeline of Bible, some stories are been embellished to add dymistification and in so doing looses its authenticity. The so called:
CODEX SINATICUS
CODEX VETICANUS and the rest of the spurious codexes does not appear until two centuries after the life of Christ, which means the disciples themselves do not know these books.Two centuries is not a joke. The closer to the source (Jesus) time the more authentic the documents may be, but this is TWO CENTURIES after the facts and all the first and second and third generation have died out. Let's reason together.
Now let me ask this question before further establishing more evidences proving the Bible we have today is not authentic.
The Greeks have 88 books
The Arminians have 81books
The Catholics have 73 books
The Protestants have 66 books
The Jehovah Witness have a peculiar book unacceptable by the above mentioned groups. Now which of these Bibles are we to take as authentic?
The RSV Bible of 1973 have this to say about the KJV in its prefex of the Bible, which majority of the Christians believe to be authentic: " THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE BIBLE HAS GRAVE DEFECTS, AND THESE DEFECTS ARE SO MANY AND SERIOUS, AS TO CALL FOR A REVISION". Can we take such a book to be authentic from God when the intellect Christians are themselves in doubt of its authenticity? Certainly not. The Qur'an say this to the games the Bible writers are doing:
"Woe unto those who write their own books and say it came from God, so they could make some miserable benefits out of it. Woe to the hands that wrote it, and Woe to the benefits they make out of it Q.
Any book that claim to have come from God must be free from any contradictions, discrepancies and historical errors. With all due respect the Bible is replete with such, unfortunately.
Let me quickly provide some imperical evidence to support my contention as to the fact that the Bible that we have today cannot be from God. Human elements have crept into it heavily with additions, subtractions and modifications.
● THE DEATH OF JUDAS
Matthew 27:5 and Acts 1:18 say different things.
● THE GENEALOGY OF JESUS
Matthew 1:16 and Luke 3:23, these geneologies are two different accounts and contradicts each other.
● WHAT WAS THE VOICE AT JESUS BAPTISM SAYING?
Matthew 3:17 was addressing the people: This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
In Mark 1:11 it speaks to Jesus: Your are my beloved son whom am pleased.
Yet in Luke 3:22 it says: Your are my son, I have begotten thee.
A book with such reputations of contradictions and discrepancies must be rejected as coming from God. The book of God must be free from such quagmire.
Infact volumes can be written to showcase how today's Bible is far far away from the teachings of Jesus. Many elements of paganistic tendencies has been incorporated to the teachings of Jesus. This is actually why the Qur'an came to confirm what was taking out from the teachings of Jesus and to restore it in its prestine purity. We ask Allah to keep us steadfast on His path...Ameen
