WHY DO WE STONE SHAITAN WE GO TO HAJJ WITHOUT ACTUALLY SEEING HIM?...

It is Allah who commanded that: Oh Mohammad follow the foot print of Ibrahim on the rituals of Hajj, so that's why we also do. But beyond that, it is a symbolic gesture to distance ourselves from Satan when doing any act of worship or he will distract us. Ibrahim threw pebbles at him to distance himself from him (the cursed one), so following that principles we too do same to complete the Hajj rituals....

WHAT ARE THE IMPORTANCE OF FASTING IN THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH?...

1. The Prophet pbuh said: Whoever fast the ten days of Dhul Hijjah, his past sins and present will be rubbed off his slate.
2. Whoever fast on the day of Arafat, will get the blessings of Hajj Mabrur.
3. Just like the blessings of the last ten days of Ramadan, the first ten days of Dhul Hijja carries equal blessings.
4. The merit of Lailatul Qadr, equals that of the blessings of Yaumul Arafat.
Infact, the blessings cannot be over emphasized.
If one cannot fast the ten days, at least one should try to fast the Yaumul Arafat....
