1400만 펫팸족을 위한 생활형 블록체인 플랫폼 ‘For The Dog’ 출시

펫팸족(Pet + Family)을 위한 반려동물의 빅데이터 기반 서비스 플랫폼 ‘For The Dog’(이하 FTD)의 개발 발표회가 7일 오후 삼성동에서 개최됐다.
이날 행사는 사전 초대받은 50여명의 투자자 및 관련 업계가 참석한 가운데 진행되었으며, (FTD의 개발을 알리는 첫번째 자리인만큼) FTD의 개발 배경과 현황, 향후 계획이 전반적으로 소개되었다.
FTD를 한마디로 설명하면 반려동물과 함께 신체활동, 즉 산책하고 조깅하며 토큰을 보상받을 수 있는 블록체인 기반의 M2E(Move to Earn)서비스이다.
이번 서비스의 핵심 가치는 펫팸족의 참여와 활동으로 얻어진 반려동물의 생체데이터를 수집하고 분석하여 체계적이고 정교한 데이터 시스템을 구축하는 것에 있다고 할 수 있다.

이미 빅데이터, AI, 블록체인 등 다양한 기술들이 모바일 디바이스를 중심으로 사람들의 일상생활을 많이 변화시키고 있지만 아직 반려동물에 있어서는 그 시장의 성장과 높은 관심도에 비하여 이러한 기술들의 접목이 많이 진행되고 있지 않은 것이 현실이다.


FTD 재단의 이준복 대표는 발표회에서 "말을 하지 못하는 반려동물에게 있어 이러한 생체 및 신체활동 데이터의 수집, 첨단 기술의 접목은 반려동물의 상태를 더욱 더 정확히 알려주고 영향력 있는 지표로 사용 될 수 있다"고 그 개발 배경을 덧붙였다.
이준복 대표는 "더 나아가 이러한 데이터를 기반으로 동물병원, 사료 제조사 등 관련 기업이나 업체들의 확보된 정보들을 종합하여 이용자별 개인화 된 맞춤형 솔루션을 제공할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
최근 걷거나 특정 장소에 가면 보상을 받는 일명 M2E(Move to Eran) 서비스가 필수앱으로 자리잡고 있다. 이에 반려동물의 활동까지 더한 FTD는 런칭 전부터 이미 자체 온라인 Community 채널을 통해 수만명의 팔로워가 모였을 만큼 관심이 뜨겁다.
특히 한국인 4명 중 1명 반려동물 키워 2027년 반려동물 시장 규모 6조원 반려동물 인구 1400만명 시대를 맞은 가운데 펫테크 서비스가 뜨고 있는 분위기다.
FTD는 연내 4Q에 서비스 런칭을 목표로 하고있습니다.

팻팸족 위한 모바일 플랫폼 'For The Dog', Closed Beta 버전 선보여

바쁜 현대인들에게 있어 반려동물에 대한 애정과 관심이 높아지는 만큼, 관리에 대한 노력과 시간, 비용의 부담이 증가하는 것 또한 현실이다. 펫팸족(Pet +Family)의 이러한 고민을 해소하기 위한 모바일 서비스 플랫폼인 ‘For The Dog’(이하 FTD) 가 곧 런칭 될 전망이다.

이와 관련하여 FTD 재단은 지난 9월 삼성동에서 FTD에 대한 첫번째 사전 공개 행사인 FTD 개발 설명회를 개최하였다. 초청된 투자자들을 비롯한 관련 업계 전문가 50여명이 참석한 가운데 진행된 이번 설명회에서는 FTD의 개발 배경과 현황, 향후 계획 등이 전반적으로 소개되었다.

FTD는 M2E(Move to Earn) 기능을 중심으로 반려동물을 산책시키고 지역기반의 community 활동을 장려하는 모바일 서비스 플랫폼이다. 또한 이러한 활동을 빅데이터 화하여 점차 보다 정확한 정보와 경제적 규모를 갖춤으로써 사용자들이 반려동물 관리의 효율성을 높이고 관리와 비용의 부담을 완화 할 수 있는 부가가치를 생성하는 것을 목표로 한다.

1차 에어드랍의 성공과 발표회 등 오랫동안 준비 되어 온 글로벌 서비스가 점차 공개되면서 업계에서도 다시 한번 새로운 형태의 M2E 서비스인 FTD에 관심이 쏠리고 있다.

한편 FTD 플랫폼은 빠르면 이달말 closed beta 버전을 선보이고 고객 feedback을 받아 연말에 출시할 예정이다.

반려동물 기반의 블록체인 Move to Earn (M2E) 플랫폼 FORTHEDOG(FTD) 프로젝트(대표 이준복)와 반려동물 디지털 헬스케어 AIoT(Artificial Intelligence of Things : 인공지능과 사물인터넷 기술을 더한 용어로 사물지능융합기술) 솔루션 우주라컴퍼니(대표 심용주)가 20일 파트너십을 체결 하였습니다.

파트너십에 참석한 FTD 김윤일 CCO는 “FTD 플랫폼은 실제 Google 지도 기반으로 반려견과의 산책을 통해 보상을 받는 M2E 서비스뿐만 아니라 반려동물의 생체데이터, 구매데이터 그리고 의료데이터까지 수집하는 플랫폼인데, 이번 파트너십을 통해 우주라컴퍼니의 AIoT 솔루션 디바이스 ‘캣모스’로 반려동물의 건강 생체데이터를 FTD 블록체인 기술에 접목하여 정확한 정보를 제공할 수 있게 되어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 더욱 다양한 파트너와 함께 혁신적인 서비스를 제공할 것” 입니다.

우주라컴퍼니 심용주 대표는 “FTD와의 파트너십을 통해 우리의 기술력을 한층 업그레이드 시킬 수 있는 중요한 기회가 되었다. 이번 파트너십을 통해 우리나라 그리고 더 나아가 전 세계 반려동물 디지털 헬스케어 시장을 선도할 수 있는 발판이 되었다”고 말하며, “우주라컴퍼니의 향후 목표인 자립형 동물보호센터 운영에도 탄력을 받을 수 있을 것” 이라고 말했다.

FTD는 우주라컴퍼니의 동물보호센터 운영에도 뜻을 같이하며, FTD 플랫폼 내에 유기동물 도네이션 기능을 업데이트 할 계획을 밝혔다.

FTD의 유기동물 도네이션 기능은 블록체인 기술을 활용하여 기부활동의 투명성과 안정성을 보장하고, 유기동물에 대한 보호와 관리를 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.

파트너십 체결과 더불어 FTD는 4월 중으로 FTD APP 베타 서비스가 오픈 될 예정 입니다.

Forthedog (FTD), an M2E Platform for Pet Owners, Will Soon Launch Its Beta Version

The pet-based blockchain Move to Earn (hereinafter M2E) platform FORTHEDOG (hereinafter FTD) project (CEO: Joon-bok Lee) will deploy a closed beta version of the app for user convenience and flawless testing in the ERC-20-based blockchain network before the official launch of the platform on the 30th. Currently, the M2E platform and NFT marketplace have completed the backend development and are in the process of applying the UI, and a total of 4,000 dog-based NFTs have been developed for the platform and are being further modified.

The platform is scheduled to officially launch in mid-April with about a month of modifications, and we are preparing an offline event for users who participated in the beta service. At the event, we will be able to share more details about additional listings, roadmap progress, and partnerships with users.

In addition, we are currently holding an NFT Naming Event, “What’s my name?”, to submit names for the 16 representative dogs of Forthedog, which will be finalized in the first half of this year and each dog’s name will be officialized.

Finally, through a partnership with Ujura Company (CEO: Yongju Shim), which has a pet digital healthcare AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) solution, the B/T-based wearable device is expected to start testing in 4Q and collect more sophisticated pet biometric data.
