From October 5, TON will begin gradually rolling out a planned update to wallet addresses, designed to make TON safer and more accessible for newcomers.
Please note that tokens sent to your old address after the changeover will still safely arrive in your wallet.
What changes?
The format of TON addresses will change slightly: the first two and last four characters will be updated, but the rest of your address will remain the same.
Example:
Before - EQDYzZmfsrGzhObKJUw4gzdeIxEai3jAFbiGKGwxvxHinaPP
After - UQDYzZmfsrGzhObKJUw4gzdeIxEai3jAFbiGKGwxvxHinf4K
