Never connect your wallet to unknown sources just for the sake of giveaways or so-called "free" #gifts. Remember, nothing is truly free.

Also, some channels are using unhealthy giveaway methods to collect user data or trick people into spending money. Think carefully before participating — if you're not comfortable with it, don't spend your money.

Here are some safe ways to buy and sell Telegram #NFTs:

1. Buy directly from Telegram: Go to ⚙Settings > 🎁 Buy a Gift. Drops appear randomly, check often and buy when available. You can later upgrade them to NFTs when the option is available.

2. Use Telegram’s built-in buy/sell option: You can trade NFTs securely within the app.

3. Visit Fragment: A trusted and official platform for buying and selling Telegram collectibles.

4. Use third-party platforms like @Portals/@Tonnel_Network_bot : Reputable web apps can also be used, but make sure they are trustworthy and secure.

📰 TDesktop 5.16.4 has an annoying bug, 💻 the gist of it is that if you open a profile or chat with someone, they end up in 📖your stories bar — above the chat list. Even if that person is not your contact. This is reported in this issue on GitHub.

Restarting the client removes strangers from your stories bar, but the bug will continue to work.

😠 Spammers use this bug for their own gain — dubious relayers in promoting their miniapps, and commentators in their channels. Be careful.

📰 Fraud scheme through a bot. 👿 There have been increasing cases where attackers manage to delete victims' accounts by transferring ownership of bots.

Described scheme process:
1. Attackers create seemingly innocent bots.
2. A random victim starts this bot.
3. This step is enough for the attacker to transfer the ownership rights of this bot to the victim.
4. Through the API, setMyName, the attacker changes the bot's name to imitate Telegram support or a @wallet wallet.
5. The attacker mass-reports the bot, after which the bot is automatically deleted, and your account may be deleted for «fraud».

💡 Recommendations:
• Do not start unknown bots, even if you are persuaded or asked, or found them in search.
• Start @BotFather; it notifies you of new bots received in your hands.
• If such a bot is transferred to you, IMMEDIATELY delete it using the /deletebot command, select the specific bot, and confirm the action.
• If you see nothing wrong, you can simply reset the token (/revoke) and change the bot's name (/editbot).

📰 Thousands of Non-Consensual Intimate Photos Shared on Telegram in China 🔞

A major scandal has emerged in China after reports revealed that thousands of men shared private and intimate photos of women without their consent on Telegram.
One of the biggest groups involved, known as “Mask Park,” had over 100,000 members before it was taken down. Despite this, similar smaller channels are still active, and the number of such groups could continue to grow.

📢 A Telegram spokesperson told AFP :

“Sharing pornography without the consent of those involved is strictly against Telegram’s rules. Such content is removed when found. Telegram moderators monitor public channels and delete millions of harmful posts every day, including non-consensual material.”

The issue has led to public anger, protests, and wide discussions on local social media platforms about online safety and privacy.
