Telegram Nodes

Discord will roll out “teen-by-default” safety settings in early March, placing all users into restricted mode unless they verify they are adults. Verification may require a selfie-based age estimation or a government ID upload, although Discord says most adults will be automatically verified without manual steps.

While the move aims to strengthen teen safety, it has sparked strong backlash over privacy concerns especially following a previous ID data breach. Many users have criticized the update as invasive and are exploring alternative platforms.

Interestingly, just a few months ago in December 2025, Telegram announced plans to introduce Discord-like features called “Telegram Nodes.” With the current controversy surrounding Discord, we are now hoping Telegram will release this feature soon. Telegram has also showcased several top design concepts submitted by contestants for the upcoming Nodes interface.
