Mini App for Creating and Editing Stickers

The official @Stickers bot received its own web Mini App, which allows users to create and edit their sticker and emoji packs using a graphical interface.

In the past, users had to use text commands to manage their sets. In 2024 the messenger also introduced some set management capabilities directly in the official apps.

Telegram for Android Updated to Version 12.0

Here are the details about the main new features of this update:

• Updated profile screen: The Android app received a revamped appearance for user, group, bot, and channel profiles. The new screens visually resemble the design of the Telegram iOS client.

• Music in profile: You can add songs from any chats directly to your profile with one tap in the built-in player. After adding to the profile, the tracks will appear in a panel under your profile picture. Any audio files added to a public playlist are visible to everyone who views your profile.

• Main profile tab: You can now choose which tab will be displayed first when someone opens your profile. The setting is also available for groups and channels where you have admin rights to change their profile info.

• Gift-based themes: Dozens of new dynamic chat wallpapers based on unique gifts have been added, which can be set as a custom theme in any private chat. However, at the moment such wallpapers are not available for all collectible gifts.

Other changes:
• Introduced the mini-app of the official bot @Stickers;
• Ability to upgrade other users' gifts;
• Ability to see the value of a collectible gift;
• Implemented TON withdrawal from a personal account via Fragment.

Telegram users can create custom stickers with a built-in editor and manage packs through the @Stickers bot.

Starting today, the new Stickers Mini App lets you create stickers and emoji, manage your packs, and view detailed usage statistics.

This currently works with Plush Pepes, Precious Peaches, Durov's Caps and Heart Lockets.

Telegram 12.0 & Grok Update

Telegram 12.0 was expected to ship with Grok integration, but as of today (Aug 31, 2025) there’s still no confirmation. The deal appears to have stalled, with no signed agreement or official announcement.

This likely means Grok didn’t make it into 12.0 as planned — possibly due to negotiations falling through, strategy changes, or other delays.

For now, the future of #Grok on #Telegram remains uncertain.

The Discuss Button Has Disappeared From Channel Profiles on iOS

After the introduction of direct messages to channels, Telegram users on iOS discovered that they no longer have the option to open the discussion group from a channel's profile if discussion is enabled. The button that previously opened the discussion group now opens the direct messages chat.

The editorial team of @tginfoen does not know whether this is a bug or intended behavior by the developers. The issue likely appeared in Telegram for iOS version 11.12, when channels got direct messages.

For channels without direct messages enabled, the button still opens the discussion group.

It is still possible to open the group linked to a channel with discussion enabled. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Open any post of the channel and go to the comments.
2. Press and hold the “Back” button. The app will then show a list including both the channel itself and the group linked to it.
3. Select the group.
