Notability Checks
In addition to 2 verified accounts (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, VK, Snapchat), Telegram will now do notability checks:
During the submission process, you will also be asked to provide at least 2 links to press articles mentioning you or your organization. To assist in the verification process, itβs preferable if:
- The publisher is well-known and long-standing
- The article is written in English
The articles must mention the public figure or organization in question, but don't need to link to Telegram.
