Telegram has updated its client in Huawei AppGallery
Telegram is switching to a new user ID system. Because of that, Telegram disabled signing up on old versions of Telegram apps.
Telegram for Android has not been updated in App Gallery (Huawei's app store) for a long time, but now the client has been updated and this problem has been solved.
Remember that Google services are not available on Huawei devices, that's why you can download applications only in Huawei's own store or from websites.

• Content creators can restrict the ability to forward messages from their groups and channels.
• When forwarding is restricted, users will also be unable to directly save media from the chat or take screenshots.
• Toggle this option on or off via Chat Info > Group / Channel Type.
Delete Messages by Date
• Clear messages in one-on-one chats from a specific date or period of time.
• Tap the date header in a chat to open the calendar and select a single day or range to delete.
Manage Connected Devices
• Choose how long a device may stay inactive before it's logged out automatically.
• Select a device to control whether it is allowed to accept Calls or new Secret Chats.
Anonymous Posting in Public Groups
• Comment as one of your channels in public groups and channel comments.
• Tap the profile picture next to the message bar to choose which channel you will appear as when you send the message.
New Ways to Log In via Call
• some mobile devices will be offered the option to receive a login call from Telegram and then enter several digits of the phone number that called – instead of getting codes via text message.
Responses to Join Requests

Statistics can have only a single link, but manager can revoke it anytime.
Statistics includes the ad post itself, its target audience (which categories and channels is it going to be shown in, and which ones are excluded), views count, status, price per 1K views. Also the page has a graph with stats for 5 minutes or per days with an option to zoom in with per-minute precision. The graph can be exported in CSV format.

Telegram has resumed old clients to load chats, the app will continue to work. In the past old clients were blocked from loading chats due to 64bit identifiers. For backward compatibility 64bit identifier users are shown as @UnsupportedUser64Bot in old clients

Results of the second stage of the November Android developer competition announced
The task of the competition was to implement the function of reactions to messages in the mobile application in accordance with the proposed design.
The prize-winners shared $50,250 among themselves.
Detailed information about the winners, their awards and works can be viewed on the official Telegram channel of the contests (Russian channel).
By the end of the year, the messenger team plans to hold another competition for Android developers.

If you find “Unsupported User” in your chat or global search, your app is outdated.
1️⃣ Outdated apps won’t be able to log in (and sign up) with SMS/calls, but they can log in with login code from Telegram Notifications to other device/app or QR code from Desktop/browser.
2️⃣ Outdated apps can still be used to chat with non-64bit users normally.
3️⃣ Outdated apps still receive messages from 64bit users as @UnsupportedUser64Bot, all of them are grouped together in one chat and can't be replied to.

In Beta-version of Telegram for macOS, you can see partial support for reactions.
Now you can only put the reaction that other users have already left — for example, through client for Android from competition. In future versions, the ability to set any available reactions will be added.
At the same time, in the group chat you can see who and which reaction was put on the message.
Also, you can disable reactions in your channels and groups, or allow only some of the emojis.
