on Android I don't really know... make sure the app has all permissions it needs and your device isn't muted 😐

Verification with TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, VK

The official website has updated the list of platforms that can be used to gain verification in Telegram: TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and VK appeared in it.

Not so long ago, the messenger team was issuing verifications only at their own opinion. Last year, Telegram liberalized this process by allowing channels and chats to validate own importance via @VerifyBot by having verification on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and/or having own Wikipedia pages. It is still impossible to get verification for a personal profile.

The "Telegram Features" section has appeared in the settings menu of the Beta version of Telegram for iOS.

The button redirects to the official channel called "Telegram Tips", which tells about capabilities of the messenger. This should help beginners learn the functions and navigate the messenger easier.

Previously, such a tab managed to appear in the update of the Android client.
