The second round of the Android Developer Contest 2021 has started
The task for the round: to implement animations in Telegram for Android based on the provided layouts, optimize them to work on older devices, and create an editor that allows you to adjust their parameters.
Detailed descriptions of all the requirements, precise instructions and criteria by which entries will be judged are given on the contest website. You are advised to additionally follow the announcements on the @contest channel.
Who may participate: everyone can participate in this stage; however, participants in the first round may have a small advantage due to their familiarity with Telegram source code.
Stage date: March 19 — April 4 (until 23:59 Dubai time).
Prize fund: $50,000

🎉 More good news – I am happy to share that Telegram has raised over $1 billion by selling bonds (a form of debt) to some of the largest and most knowledgeable investors from all over the world. Enter the group chats as a channel
In one of the future updates to Telegram, channel owners will be able to join groups on behalf of the channel, this information was confirmed by the moderator of the translation platform.
Most likely, channel owners will also be able to write comments on posts on behalf of the channel.
This will help to hide your profile not only in your own, but also in other groups.
It is currently unknown when this feature will appear.

Pavel Durov told why bondholders do not influence Telegram
Owning bonds does not imply any significant leverage, let alone "friendship" with bondholders.
Telegram bonds are a form of debt that any investor can now buy on the secondary market, none of these investors have received any rights to use Telegram or influence its policies.
"Issuing bonds is very different from selling shares, in which investors receive voting shares, seats on the board of directors, etc. as I noted in my post, the issue of bonds allowed Telegram to raise funds without sacrificing its independence" - added Pavel.
