Clarification about the "delete messages, groups you created, secret chat, and call history for all sides, without a trace" section of the changelog:

- canceling a secret chat (or deleting it for both parties) will now completely remove it from both the users' chat list (previously it was still showing up as "canceled")
- the creator has now an option to delete a normal group for everyone (was already possible with supergroups)
- when you remove an user from a normal group, he will not be able to see the chat history (previously removed users could still access it up to when they were removed - it worked like that for supergroups only)

Greeting contacts in Telegram

In Telegram for Android and iOS version 7.4 it is now possible to greet new users from the notebook using a sticker. But with a slight difference for different platforms.

Android: if there are few dialogs in the chat list, the messenger will suggest contacts. In a chat, you can select a sticker for a greeting (so that contacts are not displayed, you need to have more chats in the main dialog list).

iOS: in a chat with a user who has "Joined Telegram" a welcome sticker appears.

Report as fake

Along with the tag, Telegram for Android and iOS version 7.4 has a new item in the "Report" section – Fake Account.

Android: three dots menu > report.
iOS: description page > more> report.

Interesting fact: Android users can complain about channels where they are admin, as well as channels where there is a verification checkmark (on iOS, there is no complain button for such channels).
