Sunflowers are turning their backs on the Sun.
Sunflowers are “Solar trackers” sun chasers. If the Sun is rising in the East, the flower will face East , then track the sun from south, west, north.
At the night, the flower waits at return point of East and waits for the sun.
A flower that moves it head in circles daily.
“You spin me right round baby right round”…..
This tracking is integral to the flower’s photosynthesis and suddenly they have stopped.
