In a push-rod suspension, the rod that connects the wheel hub to the suspension pivots upwards from the wheel to the chassis.
When the car hits a bump, the suspension compresses, and the push-rod gets pushed up, transmitting the force upwards.
The force is then transferred to a rocker mounted on the chassis, which compresses the damper (shock absorber) and spring located within the chassis or along the sides.
Better packaging options,
Typically seen in Formula 1 cars and other high-performance vehicles.
Better cooling as suspension components like dampers are positioned outside the flow of hot air from the car's engine.

In a pull-rod suspension, the rod is positioned lower, and it angles downwards from the wheel hub to the chassis.
When the suspension compresses over a bump, the pull-rod is pulled down, transferring the force in the opposite direction to the damper and spring.
Like the push-rod system, the force is transmitted to a rocker, which then compresses the damper and spring, but the difference is that the force is pulling rather than pushing.
Provides a lower center of gravity due to the lower placement of the suspension components.
Helps improve the car's aerodynamics by lowering the car and its associated parts.
Frequently used in high-performance rear suspensions of Formula 1 cars. ( I think Haas and Ferrari are using pull-rod in their rear suspension system )
