"There is a rod that has two ends and is part of the suspension system, and it only comes into play during cornering, not during braking or acceleration. When pressure is applied to one side, it transfers the load to the opposite side, and the anti-roll bar helps balance these forces, which is a separate and very detailed topic.

⚠️ "Briefly, an anti-roll bar is a rod that, as its name suggests, works against the roll bar. It prevents the distribution of weight and load of the vehicle from shifting to the opposite side during cornering. For example, imagine you are running and turning to the right; you feel that the left side of your body becomes heavier. This is called weight transfer to the opposite side. The job of the anti-roll bar is to control this to some extent, keeping the chassis in a normal state(to keep car in a normal aero condition) . If it works too strongly, the anti-roll bar can cause understeer and a lack of grip."

Wheel tethers are often made from Kevlar fibers or similar high-strength materials due to their excellent tensile strength and lightweight properties. Kevlar is known for its durability and resistance to impact, making it an ideal choice for applications where safety and performance are critical, such as in motorsports.

🔵 push-rod suspensions offer better packaging and are easier to tune, making them ideal for handling balance, but they can slightly compromise aero efficiency due to higher placement of components. Pull-rod suspensions, on the other hand, improve aerodynamic efficiency by keeping components lower, helping reduce drag and lowering the center of gravity, but they are more challenging to set up and maintain. Both systems affect handling differently based on how they're tuned, with pull-rod often being more beneficial for rear suspensions in high-performance cars like F1 cars.

🖥1. Push-Rod Suspension ( 2/10 )
In a push-rod suspension, the rod that connects the wheel hub to the suspension pivots upwards from the wheel to the chassis.
When the car hits a bump, the suspension compresses, and the push-rod gets pushed up, transmitting the force upwards.
The force is then transferred to a rocker mounted on the chassis, which compresses the damper (shock absorber) and spring located within the chassis or along the sides.

Better packaging options,
Typically seen in Formula 1 cars and other high-performance vehicles.
Better cooling as suspension components like dampers are positioned outside the flow of hot air from the car's engine.
