Furthermore, we can see more shrink wrapping around the airbox. Since the sharkfin's reg box is intersecting, the more we shrink the airbox, the bigger our fin can be, and that is what we see here.

We can assume that this perhaps means that some cooling has been moved around.
Another small optimization at the front is the revised front brake ducts. Looks like a small reduction in inlet volume, nothing crazy.

Either they've found some cooling efficiency gains or they had headroom to reduce the inlet size.
Small T-wing fixed to the rear wing pylon on the FW47. Big gurney on the upper side, so we know it's the pressure side. This sets up two in-washing tip vortices.

The air exiting the cooling cannons is typically low energy and velocity. These tip vortices can help re-energize the airflow, improving the performance of our rear/ beam wing.

Potentially also contain it so less of our rear wing is affected by the low density air exiting the outlet (hot air has lower density)

These vortices also create a low pressure region just behind the outlet, thus creates a vortex induced draft that pulls the low velocity air out of the cooling outlet.

Pretty much everything has been revised. Lots of interesting details, all will be posted in this thread.

❗️ Front and side view, we can see a ton of differences compared to the SF-24.

Our first major one start with the pull-rod front suspension. It seems the entire front assembly has moved upwards ever so slightly at the inboard chassis pick up points. Compared to a push-rod, the pull-rod lowers the center of gravity ever so slightly and can also potentially be lighter due to the fact that our rod is not experiencing any buckling forces as with the push-rod.

Our front wing has remained largely similar, if not the exact spec from Singapore '24. The nose is slightly more tapered, however nothing noteworthy. As I wrote in the image, I expect most of the work on the front wing to have gone into the material design.

Front view, we can see a very deep undercut and the newly shaped P-inlets. We also the lower mirror faring and the rolled tip for the mid-wing, all carefully working together to manage the vortex shed by the mid-wing.

Other changes include the front brake ducts, the new medium downforce rear wing and the redesigned 3rd floor fence. All discussed in the image.

❗️ From this 3/4 view, we can see a reworked G-line. More expansion near the mid-floor to power up our edge wing. More floor edge and better inflow quality.

Cockpit postion comparison.

A few disclaimers first:

-The two photos are at slightly different angles, which already makes this comparison inaccurate.
-The lines themselves have a width (any smaller and compression would make them invisible) which again affects the accuracy of this comparison.
-It's better to have this confirmed by the team or an insider source. So for now take this as speculation.

I've aligned the images as best I possibly can, it seems that on the SF-25, the cockpit and airbox intake has moved slightly rearwards. Requires further analyses or confirmation.

📄 It also seems that our outboard pickup points at the front has lowered as well. Giving the suspension assembly more droop.

Again, we're at the mercy of the angles here, so take this as speculation rather than confirmation.

🔵 The most interesting detail to me is the lower wishbone fairing at the rear.

It looks one complete fairing with a slot gap for the rear lower wishbone member, resembling a dual element wing. That means our lower wishbone, track-rod & driveshaft are all encased in the same fairing. Not a very common trend at the moment.

This deserves a closer look with better lighting and angles to be certain.

🔨 From this rearview we can deduce that the lower wishbone fairing seems to be operating at a down washing angle near the outboard pickup.

From this angle increases my confidence in this being a single encasement fairing.

🚪 We've kept the slit exit & engine cover bodywork has been revised, however largely similar.

The curvature combs aren't accurate, just there to give an idea of the local curvature of the bodywork. 2nd slide is a brief explanation (SF-24_ of the purpose of such a design.

➡️ A closer look at the 2nd most inboard fence free-tip. As explained in the cover image, I imagine the idea here is to use the vorticity to drive more downwash into the upper surface of the floor.

🗂 Beam wing, very similar specification to last seasons' 'mid-downforce' option.

We can also see the cooling cannon outlets have a very similar outlet volume. The forward outlet looks slightly reduced in volume.

🔗 I've found a much better angle of the rear lower wishbone fairing, and it confirms it is a single fairing encasement, as I initially thought.

It seems the rear wishbone member almost forms a 3rd beam wing element, although this angle makes the relative distance and AoA to the lower beam wing element really hard to judge.

❗️ The sidepods have a very aggressive taper and change of angle around the mid-floor. The idea is clear, they are trying to create a region of high static pressure by aligning the initial portion of the side pod like this.

This will help further manage the upper portion of the front tyre wake. This change of direction around the cockpit is very aggressive, the only concern here is whether you can keep the flow attached around such a sharp curvature.
