The Visa Officer at Counter 14 had just came it seems, earlier counter 12 and 13 were rejecting students , if my guess is right 14 is a fresh counter and I was the second one

I did self preparation. I was confident to give answer quickly.

Tips and suggestions:
I would definitely recommend freshers to give at least a mock interview before giving the real one. I was so confident, but When I got inside the building all my confidence were gone. I got so nervous, my heart was beating so fast. I gave wrong answers. Another tips, always look carefully on ds160 and fill all the details you have.

Confidence is the key. My strong advice is to convey the home ties and non-immigrant intent as soon as possible, especially for experienced candidates. Don’t shy away from it for any reason. Also, accept the fact that VOs job is to handle many applications in a day and tend to be rude and don’t be emotional or lose confidence for any reason.

How did you prepare? - I have prepared well and did mocks with friends and AI as well. However, I suddenly lost confidence as I saw a previous rejection in the same counter.
