Me: yeah,so I went onto websites such as usnews rankings and Google scholar to search about unis providing me with curriculum that aligns with my career goal of becoming an AI engineer. So after a thorough research i shortlisted some unis and finalised them.

Me:(was not expecting this😳) officer the campus life at Loyola is very vibrant. Frequent tech events are held at Loyola which will help me gain hands on experience. Loyola also emphasises on research based learning which will help me gain practical skills needed to pursue the role of an ai engineer.
VO: Your 2nd priority uni? Compare it with Loyola.
Me: compared Loyola with Seattle and mentioned how Loyola is offering specialization in ai which aligns with my goal whereas Seattle is providing specialization in ds and ...(Interrupted)
VO: so why did you even apply to Seattle if there was no specialization in ai?
Me: officer i applied to Seattle because it has a strong ms in cs program..their specialization is heavily focused on data science so I didn't opt for it...
VO: So the uni allots you the specialization or you get to choose it?
ME: No,no we get to choose it officer 😁

Tips and suggestions:
Treat the interview like a conversation. They are judging students based on their intentions and approving the visa if you have a genuine academic intent. Your chances of approval increase if you are going to a less traveled uni or a very good uni. Two guys in front of me got rejected as they were going to st louis,lewis.
Again, just be confident and speak naturally, you most probably won't remember the answers anyway so just have a good understanding of your profile, background and uni and you can answer any question confidently!

I took QA PDF. It helped me a lot to gain so much of confidence. Most importantly mocks helped me prepare for my university and data science related questions.
The PDF helped me with a lot of questions that I did not even imagine that they will ask in the visa interview but there is so basic and many people don't know about it.. it was totally custom according to my profile my course and my internship background.

How did you prepare?
- Initially i made a mistake of writing full-length answers and prepared them, but I'm too weak at remembering stuff, and if i forget one word of it, i would lose the whole sentence. So the last 3 or 4 days, i only wrote the topic/item i want to talk about for some specific common questions and i tried answering them with my own sentences everytime.
- I only thought of 3 things when I'm in the line for my interview.
1. Speak a little slow.
2. Speak confidently.
3. Take deep breaths to slow down my heartbeat.
- I was very nervous and my voice was shaky the whole time. I wrote the answers here properly but i made a lot of mistakes when I'm actually answering. The interviewer was patient and listened to my answers even if i fumbled or stuck. I think luck played a significant part here.

🔹Me: Hi Officer, Good Morning. Hope you are doing well?
🔻VO: yes gentleman how you doing
🔹Me: I am good great officer
🔻VO: So where you going?
🔹Me: Iam going to Northeastern University to pursue master of professional studies in Analytics
🔻VO: What is Analytics?
🔹Me: Aanalytics is fied of study which uses maths, statistics and ML to make data driven decisions
When do you graduated?
I graduated in 2014 officer
What are you doing since?
Told my experience
He question like what your company do
I said like it maintains NYSE
After this he throwed my passport into the mirror to deviate
How about Funding?
I said father is sponsoring to me with x lakhs and secured an education loan with x lakhs and i have immovabale and
He stopped me and asked from where you taken loan
I said prodigy finance
So you are saying immovable what is that no use of them ?
I said officer its both movable and immovable where i can liquify whenever it is necessary
Finally your visa is approved
Tip: good ranked university and dont get deviated presence yourself very well. At the 30 i get approved means you can also do it guys.

How did you prepare?
- observe your line and listen carefully to what all questions being asked to the person before you
- try to answer only what they ask you
- don’t ever give mugged up answers
- this is my third attempt)”(going for the same university)
- I saw two people in front of me getting refused
- I felt they gave more robotic answers. That’s why they were refused.

How did you prepare?
I have prepared by my self take feedback from other members who completed their interview (specially for PhD students) and, give mocks to friends, wife and self 😜 (with voice recording- it will help a lot to listen your voice)
#Important one do not forget to share your experience as it will helps a lot to understand the situation.
Suggestions for Students going for Visa Interview :
Must prepare well, do as much as mock it will boost your confidence, and focus in your self only (during waiting for your turn), I don't know that all three students ahead me were rejected (my wife shared after coming out). And keep it as simple as possible, believe me it is very easy.
