Она предлагает кросс-платформенный инструментарий с автоматической установкой необходимых компиляторов и библиотек

В реальном времени анализирую музыку по заявкам. Говорите название, ищем ноты/миди/аккорды, если не найдём - транскрибируем аудио в миди сеточками. Дальше красим, смотрим и замечаем закономерности. Чем музыка западнее и ближе к среднему, тем осмысленнее анализ. Действует мораторий на Радиохэд.

Советую заранее посмотреть демки, стэйтмент и лекцию по новой раскраске.

📰 Paper reading club: love impossibility results, transformer computational models

We meet biweekly to discuss advances in computer science, ground them down to applications, and see where to the wind is blowing. Read the papers at your own time and come discuss them with us. The talks will be given in English, discussion in En/Ru.

1. 12:00 Love impossibility results (@add512)

It's a simple empirical observation that finding love is hard. We discuss classic and recent works in statistical modelling shedding light on the subject.

- Why I Will Never Have a Girlfriend (Miller, German AI Center, 1999)
- Why I Don't Have a Girlfriend: an Application of the Drake Equation to Love in the UK (Backus, Warwick Economic Summit, 2011)

2. 13:00 RASP/Tracr: a computational model and DSL for writing programs compiled to transformers (@add512)

It's useful to have a computational model for a DL architecture: it allows us to reverse engineer AI and reason about the complexity of algorithms it could learn. RASP is a computational model for transformers in the same way automata are a computational model for RNNs; Tracr is a DSL you can write programs that compile into transformers in.

This is exciting in terms of PL/DL connections and suggests an exciting interpretability agenda.

Эта первая лекция из серии про порядок аккордов в современной музыке. Мы больше не смотрим на ноты в цветах, мы обсуждаем текстовые последовательности. Мне в руки попал дамп из миллиона гитарных подборов с Ultimate Guitar, и я даташрушу его, ищу в нём нарративы, кластера, пытаюсь его осмыслить, заэмбеддить.

На этой встрече мы слушаем много трэков, которые целиком построены на двух аккордах. Мы попытаемся как-то осмыслить, какие типы внутри них бывают чаще, а какие реже, какие там структуры, как два аккорда выстраивают форму.

19:00..22:00 — Вы самостоятельно анализируете какие-нибудь произведения, которые вам интересны. Можете выбрать конкретного автора, или конкретный стиль, или конкретное музыкальное явление. Можно анализировать по миди, по нотам с мьюзскора, можно распознать ноты из аудио, скачать аудио с ютьюба. Можно и просто анализировать в нотах, если вам так проще.

22:00..00:00 — По очереди рассказываем друг другу, что мы поняли про структуру того, что анализировали.

Акцент: про каждую пару произведений, которые вы анализируете, подумайте, как сделать из них мэшап. Как перенести структурные элементы одного из них (гармонию, мелодию, ритм, фразовую структуру) на второе? Как только мы освоимся с анализом, мы начнём делать семинары на составление мэшапов.
