Pedophilia and child marriages in the Quran

65.4-5 Tafsir-Ibn Al Kathir:

"The Iddah of Those in Menopause and Those Who do not have Menses Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her Iddah is three months instead of the three monthly cycles for those who menstruate, which is based upon the Ayah in (Surat) Al-Baqarah. see 2:228 The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation. Their Iddah is three months like those in menopause. This is the meaning of His saying;وَاللَّـتِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ(and for those who have no courses...) as for His saying;إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ(if you have doubt...) There are two opinions: First, is the saying of a group of the Salaf, like Mujahid, Az-Zuhri and Ibn Zayd. That is, if they see blood and there is doubt if it was menstrual blood or not. The second, is that if you do not know the ruling in this case, then know that their Iddah is three months. This has been reported from Said bin Jubayr and it is the view preferred by Ibn Jarir. And this is the more obvious meaning. Supporting this view is what is reported from Ubay bin Kab that he said, "O Allah's Messenger! Some women were not mentioned in the Qur'an, the young, the old and the pregnant.'' Allah the Exalted and Most Honored sent down this Ayah,وَاللاَّئِى يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَـثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَاللَّـتِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ وَأُوْلَـتُ الاٌّحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَن يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ(Those in menopause among your women, for them the Iddah, if you have doubt, is three months; and for those who have no courses. And for those who are pregnant, their Iddah is until they lay down their burden.) Ibn Abi Hatim recorded a simpler narration than this one from Ubay bin Kab who said, "O Allah's Messenger! When the Ayah in Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed prescribing the Iddah of divorce, some people in Al-Madinah said, There are still some women whose Iddah has not been mentioned in the Qur'an. There are the young, the old whose menstruation is discontinued, and the pregnant.' Later on, this Ayah was revealed,وَاللاَّئِى يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَـثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَاللَّـتِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ(Those in menopause among your women, for them the `Iddah, if you have doubt, is three months; and for those who have no courses.)''

Quran 65:4

"And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women – if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him of his matter ease."


According to Tafsir ibn Kathir, which is accepted by all Muslims and considered the best Quranic interpretation, and authentic hadiths, "Those who have not menstruated" refers to girls who are too young to menstruate. Quran 65:4 does not only refer to women who cannot menstruate due to their old age as some Muslim apologetics like to claim, it refers to two groups: women who are too old to menstruate

"And those who no longer expect menstruation."

and girls who are too young to menstruate

"Those who have not menstruated."

Girls only menstruate at the age of 12 or 13, so the Quran verse refers to girls 6, 7, 8 year olds etc and allows Muslim men to marry such girls and have sexual intercourse with them.  The reason why Quran 65:4 also permits sexual intercourse with children and not just child marriages is that it talks abour the Iddah regarding girls who are too young. The Iddah is the waiting period in Islam for a woman before she marries a new man. For example, if a woman marries a man and he dies and she wants to remarry, she must wait three months before remarrying. However, the Iddah only applies if the woman had sexual intercourse with her ex-husband. According to the Quran, there is no Iddah if there was no sexual intercourse between a man and a woman:

Quran 33:49

"O you who have believed, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, then there is no waiting period (Iddah) for you to count concerning them. So provide for them and give them a gracious release."

As we can see, a woman must have sexual intercourse with her husband otherwise there is no Iddah. But Quran 65:4 mentions that for girls who are too young to menstruate, there is an Iddah of three months before they remarry. However, since we know that without sexual intercourse there is no Iddah, the Quran implies that there can be sexual intercourse between a girl and her husband and the iddah of the girl is 3 months. This is disgusting and shows us how evil the Quran is.

"And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless."

Quran 98:6
"Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures."

Quran 8:55
"Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not believe."

And Muslims still claim that Islam supports equality and peace.

One of the main reasons I left Islam is its similarities to Zoroastrianism. Islam is a complete copy of Zoroastrianism.

Zoroastrianism (or Mazdaism) is one of the oldest monotheistic religions. The founder Zarathustra (Zoroaster) is believed to have lived in ancient Persia between 1500 and 600 BC. Zoroastrianism is at least 2100 years older than Islam. The similarities between Islam and Zoroastrianism are numerous. According to Zorotarianism, Ahura Mazda is the almighty creator god and the one true God. According to Islam, Allah is the almighty creator god and the one true God. In Zorotarianism, there is a constant struggle between Ahura Mazda (God, the good) and Angra Mainyu (Ahriman, the evil, comparable to Satan). In Islam, Allah (God, the good) and Iblis (the evil, Satan) are in constant conflict. According to the Quran, the devil is a fallen spirit similar to the concept of Ahriman in Zoroastrianism. In Zoroastrianism, there are angels (Amesha Spentas) and demons (Daevas). In Islam, there are angels (Mala'ika) and demons (Jinn). In Zoroastrianism, the Chinvat Bridge determines the fate of souls—the righteous can cross it, sinners fall into it. In Islam, the Sirat Bridge is a narrow bridge over Hell—only the righteous cross it. According to Zoroastrianism, at the end of time, a savior (Saoshyant) will come, the dead will be resurrected, and the world will be purified. According to Islam, at the end of time, the Mahdi will come, Jesus will return, there will be a resurrection of the dead, and the Last Judgment will take place. In Zoroastrianism, believers pray five times a day, often with ritual ablutions. In Islam, Muslims pray five times a day, with ritual ablutions.

There are numerous other similarities, but it would take far too long to list them all.

Muhammad was a merchant who came into frequent contact with Persians, especially in trading cities such as Mecca and Yathrib (later Medina). Zoroastrianism was the official religion of the Persian Sassanid Empire, which bordered Arabia. Many Arabs operated in Persian territories or had Persian neighbors. One of Muhammad's closest companions was a former Zoroastrian.

If we look at the similarities between Zoroastrianism and Islam and Muhammad's connection to Zoroastrians it becomes clear that Momo copied Zoroastrianism and was not a prophet of God.

Muslims like to claim that they also believe in Jesus and that Islam preaches peace between Muslims and Christians, but that's not the case! According to the Quran, Jesus was not crucified, is not the son of God, is not God, and is merely a prophet. The Quran curses Christians and calls for them to be fought.


Quran 9:29

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture (Christians and Jews)- [fight] until they give the jizyah (taxes) willingly while they are humbled."

Quran 9:30

"The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah ." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?"

The Quran says that anyone who believes that Jesus is God or his son is a disbeliever and will burn in hell forever:
Quran 5:75

"They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary” while the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers."


The Quran rejects one of the most important events in Christianity, the crucifixion of Jesus:
Quran 4:157

"And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him.."

The Quran says that Jesus is only a prophet and takes away any divinity from Jesus and is therefore from a Christian perspective, a blasphemous book:
Quran 4:171

"O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah.."

According to the Quran, it is not permissible for Muslims to have Jews and Christians as friends, and whoever does so is one of them:
Quran 5:51

"O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."

Muhammad and dogs.

Muhammad had a phobia of dogs and ordered his followers to kill dogs and believed that black dogs were the devil.

Sahih Muslim 1572

Abu Zubair heard Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) saying:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered us to kill dogs, and we carried out this order so much so that we also kill the dog coming with a woman from the desert. Then Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) forbade their killing. He (the Prophet further) said: It is your duty the jet-black (dog) having two spots (on the eyes), for it is a devil.

Muslims like to claim that the Torah and the Gospel have contradictions which is why Christianity and Judaism are false and claim that the Quran has no contradictions which is supposed to prove that Islam is true and the Quran is from God, however the Quran constantly contradicts itself and thus refutes this argument of the Muslims.


The Quran says no one can change Allah's word.
Quran 6:115

"The Word of your Lord is perfect in truthfulness and justice; no one can change His words. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."

According to the Quran, the Torah was a revelation from Allah but has been corrupted and changed.

Quran 4:46

"Some of those who are Jews change words from their context and say: “We hear and disobey; hear thou as one who heareth not” and “Listen to us!” distorting with their tongues and slandering religion. If they had said: “We hear and we obey: hear thou, and look at us” it had been better for them, and more upright. But Allah hath cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, save a few."

Quran 5:13

"And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly."

The question now arises, can one change Allah's word or not? Because the Quran says no one can change Allah's word and then it says in other verses that the revelations from Allah have been changed and corrupted.

Another contradiction in the Quran: who was the first Muslim, Muhammad, Abraham or Moses?

Quran 39:12

"And I (Muhammad) have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims."

Quran 7:143

"When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: “O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee.” Allah said: “By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me.” When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: “Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe."

Quran 2:132

"And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims."

Does Allah forgive idolatry?

Allah says he forgave idolatry:
Quran 4:153

"The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: “Show us Allah in public,” but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority."


Allah says he does not forgive idolatry:
Quran 4:48

"Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed."

When I was a Muslim, I often tried to justify this contradiction, but now I realize that it cannot be justified. It is a clear contradiction, and anyone who says otherwise is only making a fool of themselves and is ridiculous.

Muhammad lived in a region heavily influenced by Christian and Jewish traditions. As a merchant, he traveled through areas where he came into contact with these diverse religious communities and heard stories and teachings that existed centuries before the Quran. If we examine the Quran and its contents closely, we realize that many of the stories and teachings it contains are not new or divine revelations, but are simply taken from the religious traditions with which Muhammad came into contact. A prime example of this is the story of the "Seven Sleepers" (Al-Kahf), told in the Quran. This story of young men who sleep in a cave and remain unharmed for centuries is a tale derived from Christian tradition and is a fairy tale. This tale appears in Christian literature, particularly in the stories of Christian martyrs, and was widespread in the region. It has no biblical origin but belongs to Christian folklore. Muhammad must have heard this story—probably from Christian traders or travelers—and decided to include it in the Quran. The fact that this story has no biblical basis and is merely a Christian folktale and yet it is still in the Quran proves that Muhammad had no knowledge about Christianity or the Bible and added this fairy tale in the Quran, because he thought it was a true story. Another example is the story of Jesus forming a bird from clay and breathing life into it. This narrative is a classic element of the Gnostic Gospels, which were written centuries before the Quran. The story is found in the Infant Gospel of Thomas, which is not part of the official Christian Bible. Muhammad, who was a traveling merchant and likely came into contact with Gnostic Christians, as they existed in Arabia, adopted this narrative and incorporated it into the Quran. Again, this is not a divine revelation like the Bible, but a story he heard from other people and incorporated into his religious teachings. Yet another example can be found near the Jewish Talmud and Mishnah, which were composed by Jewish communities in the Middle East long after the Old Testament was written. These writings, which contain moral, legal, and theological teachings, are not divine revelations, but were written by Jewish rabbis who interpreted the Torah. These writings show strong parallels to some teachings in the Quran. The Quran borrows many legal and moral concepts from Jewish tradition that were formulated long before its creation. Again, Muhammad listened to these sources and incorporated them into the Quran. Numerous Jews lived in Arabia, and Muhammad was even once allied with Jewish tribes before massacring them. The fact that the Quran contains so many stories and teachings that clearly derive from human sources poses a strong challenge to the notion that the Quran is the direct word of God. Instead, it is becoming increasingly clear that Muhammad lived in a religious and cultural environment surrounded by the traditions of other peoples and simply adopted many of the stories contained therein. The Quran therefore appears to be not a product of divine revelation but a human compilation of narratives that were widely circulated in the region.
