The Islamic preacher Zakir Naik got into a taxi in London and said to the taxi driver: - "Brother, please turn off the radio, because as the Holy Quran says I cannot listen to music, because in the time of the Prophet there was no Western music, which is the music of the unbelievers". The taxi driver kindly turned off the radio, stopped the taxi and opened the door for Zakir, who asked him: - "What are you doing brother?" The taxi driver answered politely: - "In the time of your Prophet there were no taxis, no bombs, no loudspeakers in mosques, no suicide attacks. So shut the fck up, go out and wait for a camel to pass by".

Today we pause to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, and we hold in our hearts the brave men and women who gave their lives helping others—firefighters, police officers, first responders, and everyday people who showed extraordinary courage.

May we never forget the pain of that day, but also never forget the light of faith, unity, and selfless love that shone in the midst of darkness.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but "banning Sharia" is just empty talk. Because there is still halal, Sharia banking, and the call to prayer being broadcast onto the streets etc. The only way to ban Sharia is to ban Islam itself. Which I am all for.
