🟢Indian History:

1. Indus Valley Civilization:
The Indus Valley Civilization (2600–1900 BCE) was one of the world's oldest urban civilizations, known for its advanced city planning, drainage systems, and trade networks.

2. World's First University:
Takshashila (6th century BCE), located in ancient India, is considered the world’s first university, attracting students from across the globe.

3. Ashoka the Great:
Emperor Ashoka, after the Kalinga War (261 BCE), embraced Buddhism and spread its teachings across Asia through inscriptions and edicts.

4. Gupta Golden Age:
The Gupta Empire (320–550 CE) is considered a golden age of Indian culture, marked by advancements in science, mathematics (zero and decimal system), astronomy, and literature.

5. Contributions to Mathematics:
Aryabhata, an ancient Indian mathematician, introduced the concept of zero and made significant contributions to trigonometry and astronomy.

6. The Vijayanagara Empire:
This South Indian empire (1336–1646 CE) was renowned for its grand temples and was one of the wealthiest empires of its time.

7. Battle of Plassey:
The Battle of Plassey (1757) marked the beginning of British rule in India, leading to nearly 200 years of colonial domination.

8. Salt March:
Mahatma Gandhi's Salt March (1930) was a pivotal moment in India's struggle for independence, showcasing nonviolent resistance.

9. Partition of India:
In 1947, India was divided into two nations, India and Pakistan, resulting in one of the largest mass migrations in history.

10. Indian National Army (INA):
Led by Subhas Chandra Bose, the INA played a significant role in India's independence movement by seeking to oust the British through armed struggle.
