A imprensa e políticos internacionais estão chamando a atenção para "a maturidade da democracia brasileira" ao julgar Bolsonaro por seus crimes políticos e torná-lo inelegível, para que não retorne ao poder impunemente, como fez Trump. Mas é sintomático que as instituições brasileiras só tenham agido quando as vidas de seus membros de alto escalão estavam em risco, não quando Bolsonaro usou a pandemia de COVID-19 como arma contra os pobres, as populações de favelas e os povos indígenas e transformou cidades inteiras em campos de testes para o negacionismo da COVID-19, causando mais de 716.000 mortes, como atestou uma comissão parlamentar que investigou seus crimes contra a população.

Não podemos esperar que essas instituições nos protejam. Historicamente, elas se aliaram a golpistas e assassinos e agem apenas para se proteger. Nossa única esperança é organizar uma força popular capaz de se defender para além dos espetáculos dos julgamentos midiáticos.

Nothing could be more naïve than to imagine that Donald Trump's effort to put the military on the streets of US cities has anything to do with "fighting crime." He himself is very clear: this is an act of war against the part of the population that does not support his autocracy.

No political party is going to protect us. We must build the capacity to defend ourselves through grassroots initiatives or watch powerlessly as his mercenaries come for our neighbors one after another until they finally come for us.

​​Сегодня, 9 сентября, день рождения нашего товарища, анархиста, партизана, интернационалиста, одного из основателей Боевой организации анархо-коммунистов Дмитрия Петрова. Ему исполняется 36 лет. Дмитрий стал мучеником 19 апреля 2023 года, штурмуя позиции российских оккупантов под Бахмутом. Вместе с ним погибли интернационалисты Купер Эндрюс и Финбар Кэферки.

Дима был партизаном и организатором анархического партизанского движения во всех странах, где ему доводилось находиться долгое время, участвовал в Курдской революции и был другом Курдского революционного движения, распространяя его идеи и практики в русскоязычной среде, активно работал над созданием либертарной военной структуры в Украине после начала полномасштабного российского вторжения. Участвовал в протестах 2011 года на Болотной площади, в восстаниях на Майдане в 2014 и в Беларуси в 2020.

Для БОАК и для всего анархического движения Дмитрий Петров навсегда останется примером милитантности — полной преданности революционному делу, воли к активным действиям, сопровождаемым постоянным идеологическим анализом, приверженности организованной борьбе, солидарности и любви к товарищ:кам. Мы должны помнить об этом примере и быть достойными его. Продолжать путь, который завещал нам товарищ.

In this video from Atlanta Community Press Collective, #StopCopCity RICO defendant Jamie Marsicano discusses how the explicit goal of this judicial persecution is to terrorize people out of engaging in mutual aid, solidarity, and other practices that are core to anarchism.

Thanks to mutual aid and solidarity, the RICO case has not succeeded in accomplishing that goal.

Centrist democrats must understand that any support or leeway that they offer the Trump administration or the police in the wake of the death of Charlie Kirk will not make them safer. The entire apparatus of "law and order" will be turned against them as well as against those it has always harmed.

Their cowardice will have severe repercussions for everyone. It already is.
