Seit dem 20. Oktober 2022 befindet sich der italienische Anarchist Alfredo Cospito im Hungerstreik und fordert ein Ende seiner Isolationshaft unter dem “41bis”-Regime. Zum Zeitpunkt des 3. Februars 2023 hat er 107 Tage ohne Nahrungsaufnahme verbracht.

Im Laufe der letzten dreieinhalb Monate verlor Alfredo mehr als 45kg. Bobby Sands, Mitglied der Irish Republican Army, der während seines Hungerstreiks im Jahr 1981 in das Parlament gewählt wurde, starb nach 66 Tagen ohne Nahrung.
