Right now, on Elon Musk's private platform, Twitter, the far-right troll who convinced him to ban CrimethInc. is comparing CrimethInc. to ISIS, while Musk is still pretending to be a proponent of "free speech."

The comparison to ISIS is especially absurd, because some of our comrades died fighting ISIS while that particular troll's followers were murdering civilians in the US.

Likewise, Musk is not in favor of "free speech." He is banning accounts like ours at the same time that he reintroduces fascists to Twitter.

Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter confirms the end of social media as we have known it, at least for the purposes of positive social change. Now all the major platforms that played roles in the movements of the past decade have been brought under the direct control of reactionaries determined to make sure that they cannot be used to coordinate resistance.

The question is what comes next. Will reactionary billionaires determine all we can discuss and imagine? Or will we establish other channels via which to communicate, other forms of connection?

La domanda è cosa succederà dopo. Saranno i miliardari reazionari a determinare ciò che possiamo fare, pensare e sognare? O stabiliremo altri canali di comunicazione, altre forme di connessione, altri mezzi di coordinamento?
