He was active in the fraternity, serving in 1812 as Master of his lodge. Many often get confused when I (or others) talk about the evils of Freemasonry because they know someone who is/was a Freemason and is a wonderful person.
To be clear, I am NOT calling your grandpa/uncle or whoever you know that is a Freemason an evil person. If any of you know a Freemason, they likely are charitable and serving to their community - because that is what many low level Freemasons do.
The main evils of Freemasonry (some of which is evil beyond comprehension) are at levels that 99% of Freemasons will never get to, namely the 32nd and 33rd degrees (and beyond).
As the degrees increase, so does the evil. Freemasons are one of the driving forces of the New World Order. Many celebrities and other societal figures such as politicians, corporate owners, etc are Freemasons.
